I hope Raw is good tonight. We're sure to see more of the HBK/Orton fued, and maybe we'll find out some new matches for the PPV.

And in all likelihood, Jeff and Kennedy won't even be seen near Orton. What a fair vote this will turn out to be.

and maybe we'll find out some new matches for the PPV.

Personally? I'm hoping for a Triple Threat Tag Match between Cade & Murdoch, London & Kendrick and The Highlanders for the WTTC at Cyber Sunday where we vote on the stipulation for the match.
But knowing Creative, that's probably wishful thinking.

I'd throw in the WGTT for that match with some sort of stipulation. But yeah I doubt we'd get that match.

Think Booker will stay with WWE or is he leaving?

From wwe.com:

"Watch Raw tonight at 9/8 CT on the USA Network. After the conclusion of Raw, the entire Cyber Sunday card will be revealed on WWE.com. In the meantime, you can be the General Manager for the following matches:"

Yeah, smooth move. Now we get a ton of matches with little to no build up.

It's better than the last minute deal we have been getting. I'd rather know in advance whats going to be on ppv.. Not that I've bought one in the longest time. Last ppv I bought was ONSII.

Also they need to release these matches early so we can have a chance to vote for them.

Plus just the way the stuff is just "thrown out there" I mean, they have teased MVP and Hardy for how long now? Then to just throw it out on this PPV? I mean, this should have been a situation where Hardy outsmarted MVP into getting that title match or Vickie just dupes him into it. For all the great build and talk of how MVP skillfully avoided Hardy and it comes down to what amounts to "yeah, so we need to get this fan voting PPV's card out in a hurry, throw that on there!". It's just a disservice to those two and to everybody else who wasn't "good enough" to have some angle lead directly into their being booked for the show.

The new Save_Us video.

If anything, this one leads even further towrds Jericho than ever. Plus another Bible verse pops up; I think it was Revelations. 2nd_Coming Upon_Us? It's Jericho alright.

Raw was ok. I like it when they have shows in the UK, the fans reactions are great.

Umaga beat teh hell out of that jobber guy, and I must be a bit evil because I thought it was kinda cool.
I haven't checked the new ppv matches yet. I'll let you know my thoughts on them is a bit.

I'm thinking this one is refering to Armagedon. So maybe we might see Jericho return there.

Also, how lame are the choices for the MVP/Matt match? Does anyone watch a wrestling PPV to see a boxing match between two wrestlers?

WWE.com has learned that several meetings have taken place between Acting SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero and ECW General Manager Armando Estrada that, if ratified, would allow SmackDown and ECW Superstars to compete on Tuesday and Friday nights.

While nothing is signed as of yet, locker room sources say that this open door agreement between Vickie and Estrada will be discussed tonight, live on ECW on Sci Fi. No further details have been released, and when pressed for more information, Estrada was tight-lipped (a rarity in its own right).

"I have no news for you right now," said Estrada. "But tonight on ECW on Sci Fi (10/9 CT), I will give some insight into these meetings."

In related news... SPOILER WARNING!!! DO NOT READ THE FOLLOWING IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE SPOILED!!!!!

There's rumblings about Kane being CM Punk's partner tonight... Take it for what its worth.

Very big shame about Booker.. He was on such a roll too.

As fro the ECW/SD thing. It's ok if they do this in small doses. If they totally break down the brand barrier, you can say goodbye to a lot of the undercard as the guys higher up will get that air time.

Then I have some bad news for you, as....Spoilers ahead.....

Big Daddy V appeared on SD! to assualt Kane.
End Spoilers

But its not as if the brands are in danger of breaking down. No, for them to be in danger of that they'd have to actually be separate right now. Talent comes and goes on the brands as they please so its no huge thing for them to tear down that last wall and put ECW and SD! together. This actually gives a wealth of talent to ECW and the young guns on ECW to showcase their stuff on network TV

On the subject of Booker, Sharmel, and Daivari leaving.....I wish Booker all the best in what ought to be his retirement from the ring. I think he knows that WWE is the only viable place for a guy l;ike him and that going to TNA wouldn't help either party. Bookers got a ton of options here, but I hope he focuses on his school and his content at that.

Daivari, on the other hand, asked to be released. I dunno why, but I think its because hes seen how TNA handles their X-Division (jobber) talent and see that its not much different from WWE. In fact, the TNA Jobbers have deeper characters, more screen time, and far less travel to worry about. If Daivari wants to, I bet he could show up in TNA in the X-Divison and make a living there.

Arghbarge. Making my NG comeback.

That monkey flip Punk did to Morrison was awesome! Actually that first match was the best of the night. But what I thought would happen did. ECW guys got shoved aside in favor of SD talent.

So what are you guys voting for on those cyber sunday matches? For the HHH/Umaga match I'm picking street fight, which is also on the Finley/Rey match, but called no dq. Miz also gets my vote as does Kennedy.

Source: PWInsider.com

To elaborate on one of Daniel's reports from earlier today, WWE has announced that effective immediately they will begin airing full ECW TV episodes on the official WWE web site. This further raises questions that ECW's television deal with the Sci-Fi Network will not be renewed past the end of 2007.

Shane McMahon, who was very supportive of WWE bringing back ECW, had suggested when the company had first decided to resurrect the brand that the company run ECW TV on the WWE web site to support the brand on smaller scale, much like the original ECW. However, when Vince McMahon got firmly behind the project, he demanded a larger scale and wanted a television clearance for ECW.

With the sinking ratings, lack of talent, and the announcement that SmackDown stars will begin appearing on ECW television, it looks like ECW will slowly evolve into something similar to WWE.com HEAT. From everything that we have heard from WWE's recent overseas tour is that the ECW brand is heading for oblivion.

Well... that's what they get for trying to make it something it wasn't instead of the origional Philly version. I can't say I won't be happy when the incorrect portrayal of ECW is finally put to bed.

To be fair, ECW was never anything more than Heat on a larger scale, especially when you consider that ECW replaced Velocity.
The only thing ECW had was ECW originals, which are just veterans used to put new talent over. Hmmm, slightly reminiscent of Heat, perhaps?
It didn't have the same atmosphere as its first incarnation, because it was produced by the WWE. WWE products are done in WWE style, and they have made it clear that they don't shift from that viewpoint. WWE needs to play it safe, to protect their brand, their product and their talent, whereas ECW were edgy, and never on such a high pedestal as WWE are. They could take more risks, where WWE would be stupid to.
So WWECW was only ever Heat with its own title.

And thats why it failed, because they made the First 2 pay per views EXACTLY the way the fans wanted to see ECW, and then they got scared and decided to make it the new WWF "C" show, nothing more than OVW on TV

In hindsight, I think ECW should've just stayed as an annual event. That first One Night Stand was probably one of the best PPVs I've seen, and the second was less so (but ONS2 was the beginning of WWECW, so they were best not to go balls out).
You look at the old ECW stars, and alot of them are past being top stars leading a company into the future, but the first ONS showed us that they can still fuck each other up when they have to.
One event a year would give them a chance to go all out, and show the world what made them so popular. It would bring back fond memories for the old ECW fans, and give younger fans a more realistic portrayal of what ECW was. If I didn't have Avie here to tell us what ECW was all about, then this new incarnation would have been pretty much my only view of ECW, and it would've made me think ECW was just some stale show that got cancelled in the past.
Whatever, that's probably too much said on a subject I know comparatively little about.

You nailed it, tho. When they were doing the one a year they were GREAT, and to be honest, I guess it was because they hadnt wrestled each other in so long, but the first One night stand PPV was better than most of the old ECW PPV's. It was when they got the show that it was awful, and it bums me out because people who arent from the east coast think that the ECW on tv now is what ECW was back when it came on tv in Philly.
