My guess.... Vince is going to hog up no less than 20 minutes of air time which could be used to push some of talent on the RAW roster. You know, business as usual >_>

And I can't believe this.... Look who's at number 25!

Are you making fun of Stevie, I am glad he's geting pushed. I think those matches with Punk impressed Vince or something.

Hell no! I would never doubt Big Stevie Cool. I'm just surprised that he's being allowed to get a couple of victories... I guess Stevie was right, he did show us, and we did see.

I think it'd be more interesting to do it as Stevie being able to get a win over the monster, in the end I think V probably should go over him a time or two to keep his heat, but frankly, there's more upside to Stevie then V, and you can get more from Stevie.

Apparently the low rating that Raw got had put everyone in the company in panic mode. There was a rumor of them even going as far as ending the brands and combining it again (really bad idea) so you know things must have been tense for a while. I expect tonights Raw will pull out all the stops. Or at least give some good matches to make up for the lousy show last week.

I know some of you were against the different brands and would be for a combined roster again, but if you look at their combined roster you can see that they have way too many people and could never show them all in one or two shows. Guys at the lower end would never get time and eventually be let go while others who were on the verge of getting to the top or at least climb the ladder a bit would be pushed back down as the current main event guys would need the time. So as it stands three brands will at least ensure that some of them will be employed and seen.

So the big plan for RAW tonight is the return of Vince, apparently head writer Brian Gerwitz has been pushing that they just continue the limo storyline now as planned. I'm off today and I may only check out the show if only to see if WWE is finally ready to make changes to the product to combat the low ratings.

Oh no... I really hope they come up with something good, and knowing the WWE I doubt it.

Basically it was gonna be some kind of thing where Vince survived or it was faked or something, then Mr. Kennedy was supposed to get rub from Vince. Like I say, it WAS getting some ratings, but I think WWE should just have Vince make a joke about it then move on. It's not an angle that should be picked up at this point I feel.

I just heard some troubling things that has filled me with incredible mismay. Warning, the following contains possible spoilers......

Rumors are flying around that TNA is set to phase out the X-Division title. If that alone wasn't bad enough, they plan on unifying it with the World heavyweight title when Kurt Angle defeats Samoa Joe at Hard Justice. It's about time Joe got the win, and I don't see how they can not give it to him now.

Of course, with the unification of the titles as well as the signings of Adrew Martin, Pacman Jones, Banderas, Matt Morgan(as well as the potential signings of Rikishi, Brian Christopher, and Giant Bernard), you can expect to see a lot less of Kazarian, Petey Williams, Black Machismo, Sonjay Dutt, and other X-Division stars. Well, its not like they get the time they deserve anyways. What boggles my mind is why they would do such a thing when they're on the verge of scoring a 2 hour program.

There are so many things wrong with this that it just makes me sick. I honestly hope that all of it is just rumors, but the new talent alone is enough to make me not want to watch anymore. Why sign these giant ass no talent hacks when you got guys like Rhino, Chris Harris, James Storm, and Kazarian all set to step up? We've already got a plethora of main event level guys not being used, so what the hell guys?

Arghbarge. Making my NG comeback.

Well you see Red, those guys aren't fresh out of WWE and considered "WWE guys" like those other guys, and you gotta push your WWE guys cause they're the real stars. Remember that great organization WCW? They did the same thing! It worked so well don't you know? Made them the kings of pro-wrestling....why build up anything new when you can take in guys who were mid-carders elsewhere and make them main eventers for you.

Its basically what Avie said. Who the hell wants to see Kazarian get pushed when his push can go to some talented wrestler like Test, or Tomko?

There's rumors going around about an Angle-Jarrett ME at Bound For Glory, so once again Samoa Joe is going to get looked over. His contract also runs out this year.... I'm guessing he'll be with WWE soon enough.

Y'know, I was thinking that as I was posting. I never really bought into the TNA = WCW theory, until now. Its a damn shame too, they were a true alternative but now , if all this goes down, Its gonna be as hard to watch as WWE is at times.

Despite what others say, I like Tomko. Andrew Martin I can definitely do without, he's too inconsistent.

Samoa Joe needs to do something, but I dunno if going to WWE will be much better for him. See what happened to CM Punk? Vinces philosphy is that you're not a superstar worthy of the championship unless you're WWE bred and made. Sadly, TNA is using the same philosphy.

Well, Tomko has improved with the time he's spent in Japan. As for Test, he sucks, always has and always will.

Not for nothing... But Punk's been at the top of the heap in ECW for a while. There's a good chance he'll win the title at Summerslam. It might have been a slow build, but Punk's is now making his mark in WWE. I guess Joe would get a similar push.

While that is true, its most likely due to the lack of depth on ECW. Even further, why couldn't CM Punk have been on SD! or Raw? And while hes been at the top on ECW, he's also lost 2 straight matches, cleanly, to Morrison. In all honesty, I can't see creative putting Punk over Morrison, seeing as how hes their new pet project right now and they're trying to groom him for the big time back on the other brands.

I have a similar thought process as I can't even picture Punk with the title. ECW has too little heel contenders for them to have a face champion. Remember when Lashley had the title? They resorted to having guys like Kennedy get title shots and then it eventually ended with Mr. McMahon himself taking the title. I'm also tired of seeing the same finish every damn week. Seems like every week we see Elijah Burke get teh GTS landed on him and then being pinned by Punk. The only good thing about Punk winning the title would be a possible push for Burke and other guys like Miz or Cor Von (who is currently going to waste).

I'd be surprised to a degree if ECW continues past December, Sci Fi has things that outdraw it now, and they won't really be enamored with pissing off their hardcore audience with a wrestling product that isn't really getting them ratings. They don't care about ECW true, but like what was pointed out prior, it's a question of what do you think is better? Is it better for Punk to be the number 2 guy on the third brand, or is it better for him to go to RAW or SD! and jerk the curtain or be lost in the shuffle? I think he's probably better developing in ECW and being at the top of that limited heap. He's at least on TV weekly and pushed.

TNA has been treading water and looking like WWE for awhile though, the "Crash TV" approach to me dosen't work, and they've definitely been getting away from the wrestling, if they keep trying to out-WWE Vince, they'll just sink further in the toilet. Vince is the best there is at his form of wrestling, he's cornered the market on it, if you want to gain a foothold, find a way to be different.

Here's an update on Idol Stevens' release.

Source: Gerweck.net

According to a reliable source, Stevens was flown to Raw earlier this evening, and was suppose to redebut tonight and when he wasn't written on the show, Stevens told WWE officials he was done. Stevens had threatened to go to TNA.

I'm glad that Raw finally has a new GM in William Regal. It gives Regal something to do and will give him some airtime, which will eventually help him in the long run when and if he should step down as GM in the future.

Also, Umaga pretty much turned face completely last night after choosing not to attack Cena and attack Orton and Carlito instead. I'm not so sure about this, but I predict that Umaga will turn on Cena after the tag match next week, leading to Cena's three man beatdown.

He wasn't doing much up until now and I guess he was tired of waiting for a chance to be on tv again. Not a huge release in my mind since he did so little of note.

Raw was pretty good last night. A new GM, some decent matches, and Umaga getting cheered. Course now we see that Vince is indeed going to be on tv, and not only that is trying to get the whole McMahon clan together.. That means Steph will be back on tv.. Oh Noes!

No one ever told me that Orton had feline qualities....

Kitty Orton FTW!!!
Now he's got a horribly made ball of yarn!

Also this...

World Wrestling Entertainment has apparently signed Lacey Adkisson, the daughter the late Kerry Von Erich to a (presumably) developmental deal. On her MySpace.com page, Adkisson announced, "Just signed with WWE!! Following daddy's foot steps...! Wish me luck!!"

Lacey, 21 years old, would be the the first third-generation member of the famous Von Erich wrestling family, who were the centerpiece of the legendary World Class Championship Wrestling territory based out of Dallas, Texas. WWE is slated to release a WCCW documentary DVD set this December.

Lacey's father Kerry, a former NWA World and WWF Intercontinental champion, was considered one of the top babyfaces of the 1980s. He passed away in 1993 from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

She's also quite hot!! Notice the hotness!

Following daddy's foot steps...! Wish me luck!!"

I feel like I should make a joke about this comment.... But it would be far too easy.

Partial Source: The Wrestling Observer Newsletter

After a two week stint with Ohio Valley Wrestling, The 2nd Generation Hart Foundation (Teddy Hart, Harry Smith, TJ Wilson and Nattie Neidhart) returned to Tampa's Florida Championship Wrestling. However, the word is that the 2nd generation Hart Foundation is being transferred to Louisville, due to the fact that OVW runs more house shows. The new Hart Foundation debuted the traditional Hart Foundation colors, and is using Bret Hart's theme song.

The current plan is to call up the new Hart Foundation to Smackdown in two or three months. However, as previously reported, Teddy Hart has tremendous heat on him. Hart continues to show up late to practice and sneaks away to talk on his cell phone. Apparently Vince McMahon wants the new Hart Foundation to be called up, but only if Teddy is apart of the group.

On a side note, Teddy Hart's buddy Jack Evans (Ring of Honor/WSX) has been in Tampa the last few days, and apparently will be there a few more days. Evans is doing a try out of sorts, in the hopes of trying to secure a WWE developmental deal.

Also...I can now watch ECW! I saw it last night and I'm glad I did as the main event was great.

I know Evans has improved a lot due to his stay in Dragon Gate over in Japan, but with WWE he wouldn't be allowed to use the 630 (His finisher) or a lot of his high flying arsenal to be quite honest. He does have a ton of charisma which could help him in the long run.
