I'm just wandering why the government in the u.k spend so much money on graffiti and make such a big deal about it. Wouldn’t it be better to sort out vandalism? For e.g. I was walking down the road when I saw an electricity box. It looked like the shit had been kicked out of it. I ask what if a little kid would have grabbed one of those wires?

Does anybody else see this or anything like it?

Most kids vandalise since they're bored or can't stand what's happening at home.

You can fight that much more efficent, like establishing more activities for youths like laserdoom, archering, soft air sniping, dodgeball etc.

And if they're unhappy with the condition at home, they can establish an organization for kids where you can call in for free and talk about everything, like sex, drugs, puberty, rape, getting hit by parents, if you're depressed, about your parents separating etc.

Such easy measures you can do instead of cleaning up graffiti that will eventualy be replaced with new graffiti.

Supposidly that is what the YMCA is for, but it hasn´t been much of a popular idea for youths today.

Well who really cares man? i mean, if the kid were to touch them, he would probably die, and that would be his fault. He shouldn't be fucking around it anyway. And as for the graffiti, If its not on someones house, it doesn't really matter. The government won't get off its lazy ass and fix anything. And some forms of graffiti are inspirational, like the kinds in New York City, With all the blues and jazz stuff.

Cleaning up graffiti is a cheap way to make good PR for the elderly who are most likely to vote.

They're doing the best they can. Vandilsm is a big problem in cities. I think it should be stopped, but there's no easy way to do it. One of the things NYC did was make it illegle to walk around with an open bottle of spray paint. Do you thing England should do that?

There is a war going on in you're mind. People and ideas all competing for you're thoughts. And if you're thinking, you're winning.

Another method would be to encourage anti-graffiti.

Anti-graffiti is a form that is intended to promote art in cities that is in appropriate places rather than used to vandalize. The other important notion is to quickly paint over graffiti so that other people are not encouraged to copy cat.

Graffitis are SO 1990's anyway. I mean, don't you people get along with the times? Stencils are what's hot nowadays.
