If your fav NG artist were to release a CD, would you buy it? If someone you knew here on the forums released a CD, would you buy it? If you were to release a CD, what would you name it, how would you market it, etc... Also, if you would buy a CD, say who's you would buy (NG artist), and link to thier page if you want.
I would buy Dj-Nate's Music. Simply because it is awesome.

Yes, and I have.

Tough one - I have no idea as I have no current plans on any future release.

My issue with purchasing an album is it should fit a particular theme. I wouldn't enjoy a simple album with pre-existing Newgrounds tracks exported to a CD. There's too many things to consider from a professional standpoint. But all new tracks that meld for a complete piece of art? I'm down with that.
I just keep thinking of someone burning a CD-R with a bunch of tracks that were EQed completly differently, Mastered all weird, Amateur things....and I'd have no interest.
I can understand supportting our little newgrounds community here. That's what would drive me the most. But again, it would need to be professionally done for me to fork over some cash.
Visit Discmakers.com for CD Duplication and Album art templates.
Artists I hope have the ambition to make a masterpiece album:
DJ-Zabar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Myself (lol)
JonH2O
AdmiralConquistador
Khuskan
Erkie
ParagonX9 (longer songs).
ioi8
Flashburn
I encourage everyone, but a vast majority of NG music has no signifigance.

I've been making CDs, just for distributing among friends and as a sort of portfolio, both of them are on Newgrounds partially. They're called "Down Fell Lily" and "Mourir, c'est partir beaucoup".
My next 'issue', if you will, should be "Gospel for dummies" and I will send it to anyone interested for a fee that would just cover the costs of mailing and a blank CD, or in exchange for a CD of their own.
NG artists I would buy CDs from:
attemptedperfection
Simon-F
imskofspoltlitlcunts (the artist formerly known as PedroMancuso)(who should change his name back)
LJCoffee
StrangeEncounters (the artist formerly known as Watercolour)
DarkSidE-555
LaymanLove
sorohanro
dj-padman1
pitbulljones
AdmiralConquistador
DavidOrr
Metalcan
Rucklo
Kingbastard
I've probably missed a few. If I skipped you, you haven't been reviewing me enough :)

Actually, I've already bought KingBastard's album off of iTunes. That thing is the shiznite fa real dawg, all up in tha hizzay. I'm really not quite sure what I just said, but it's a damn good album, and well worth the dinero.

I would totally buy Kingbastards music. Its just that I'm too damned lazy to get some money into Paypal :(
And as for releasing a CD, whats the point? I don't think anyone here likes my music enough to buy it, so it would just be a waste of my time.

No way. I love what I've heard from you, you could easily go pro, I left a review for it as well.
an NG C.D. should be made, by NG of artists chosen perhaps by NG Staff, that would be a real boost for NG Audio artists, there are so many good artists on N.G.

you know what? that's actually a pretty damn good idea... Tom could sell the CDs, make some money, and the artists would get some extra exposure. Sounds like a win-win situation to me...

There's too much tallent on this site. If half of the people who upload music had a chance to make proper studio quality recordings with some recognition from a record company, a lot of people on here could do good with their music. But it's not that simple unfortunately.
I'd buy any album from the metal artists on here. Apart from Darkside555, because he smokes my noobzorz.

I've never bought a CD in my life, nor do I intend to. The internet has gone on far from then and for what music you can't buy online, theres a million radio stations you can rip it off of or hundreds of other.. less legal ways to get it.
No I would not buy a cd from any artist on NG, and I also do not plan on releasing any cd's ever

I don't think I would buy an indiviudal artist's work depending on who it is, but if it was all in a collab CD that would be really cool

Yes, there are a few artists on here that I would buy CDs from. I've already burned a handful of CDs of my favorite songs from the AP, but it would be nice to have complete collections.
I'm actually going to be publishing five CDs with my themes through Lulu.com. Anyone interested in publishing their own music should sign up there. It's kind of like CafePress, where they only make copies when people buy your stuff. And it's free, which I always like. :)
I'm working on getting everything set up for my CDs now. Volumes 1-3 will cover 2004, 2005 and 2006, respectively. I'm including longer versions, alternate cuts and unreleased stuff. Volume 4 has all my video game remixes, and Volume 5 has all my cartoon series themes.
I'm doing this mostly for friends and family - of course, that's what I said when I opened up my CafePress shop. :)
