Agreed. Old question. But if you want an answer, hindsight will best determine if it was worth it. Your reasoning is silly. "War is a bad idea because soldiers die." We had wars that was needed and wars that wasn't worth it. I still have yet to see anything that made this war worth it, but hopefully enough good comes out of it where this war wasn't regrettable.

none of your soldiors?havent you seen the pictures of that little dying kid with both his arms blown off? he sits in hospital waiting for death to come and take him. of the 40 soldiors that died in the war (UK) only about 8 died in combat. the rest died in complete fuck-ups caused by stupidity of both UK and US soldiors.

Their were inspectors in Iraq for about 10 years after the war in Kuweit. Whatever reasons Bush had for this war, it's not a fear of WMDS or Saddam's cruelty. We'll probably never know the real reasons why he striked and what does it change ? whats done is done lets move on and think a little about the after war, where we'll have a better sight of what Bush could have possibly wanted with Iraq. Saddam may have lost the war, but U.S just lost the face to the wole world : he wont find any WMDS and that's the kind of critical mistakes that will lead U.S to it's own end. If americans give Bush a second mendate, we all know what he'll do : find new reasons to wage war to other countries. He'll blame them of having terrorists, WMDS, of having Saddam or Bin Laden hidden in their closet, of hating openly U.S, of having a cruel dictatorship and so on. Bush and all his ministers are all the same ; they think they are the world's police which is laughable.

yer. colin powell is one of the few american politicians that i like. the UN is like a teacher but everyone is ignoring it. if the whole class dont give a fuck what the teacher thinks then the teacher is going to have a very hard time controlling the class.

Israeli planes blew up a nuclear "facility" a few years back when the embargo was then too in effect. It came for France. Also, Iraq was perimitted to sell crude oil for food and medical supplies, but of course, most of that money ended up in Saddam's pocket, which he could give to his scientists (educated in western schools of course) to make biological and chemical weapons. Do your god damn reading before you make stupid comments.

Please don't think that merely because your mother is a soldior that it will change my entire opinion of them. In my opinion they are strange in signing up for a job that involve killing people. End.

People have thought, sometimes before that telling me that their father or brother is in the army or the fire service or is a cop then I will think differently. Not at all. The reality is that youre REALLY not going to like what I say about them.
