If you haven't already played Tales Of Symphonia, do so. Best RPG I played on GC. Don't know much more than that, since I really haven't played any consoles in about 10 months or so. The PC has been extremely lacking in good RPGs, unless you're like me and enjoy MMORPGs. They have occupied my free time for the last 8 months or so. Lineage 2 ftw.

For the PC there's always Fallout and Fallout II. If you're into D&D based games, get Baldur's Gate 1 and 2.

i checked it out and its not like the D&D stuff i was used to, although i don't really know those too well either.. not technically anyways : (

well, if you want to be tied into the main group i can either hand you tims old character, or you can create something more along the lines of a mercenary, just let me know what type of character you want and i can probably come up with a character sheet for it, (IE cheese is the guy that can get anything, guns to info, Xendoron is an assasin, Tim WAS the tech specialist, and Jack is a scavenger)

Forgot to mention Mina, if you dont want to be part of the main group you can do that too, and you can have a wider range of character types, basically anything you can imagine, though i may have to change aspects to prevent a super character =P

Ok guys while im here i have a proposal, for this to work i will need a second DM, i want to open a second Downfall game, if your interested in running it i'll need a few things from you.

Exeperience DMing, a short writing sample, two paragraphs (preferably in the downfall setting, you can find the setting on the private forums under Random's game, OOC discussion) and why you want to run the game. There is no rule system aside from what the DM deems apporpriate. from More info you can leave me a PM on the private forums. i will see if cheesegod can open a new Section in my game section and give you Moderator privildges over that section after i approve you.

i take it that was a reply to my post, Yes i want a dungeon master, they will be running theyre own game, completely seperate from the game im running, they can institute whatever rules or systems they like, (if you want to use the D&D system, or any other system you can) or no system at all like i run mine, they can let the Characters do as they wish and just control the NPC's or they can DM it all themselves.

no that was what i wanted verified.
could i run it like WOR. ( look at my posts the first page) a great RPG which u should read.

you can run it anyway you like, In the downfall world that is. I dont do leveling in my game, it's all story and hack and slash.

However you have to do what i asked in the first post regarding this, my little 'application' then based on that i will decide if i let you run a game based in my little fantasy world or not =)

also, i may let more than one person run a game if people show enough interest, i also encourage ANYONE who feels theyre up to the challenge to start and run theyre own games, or just start a free range RP where theyres now DM interferance, just players acting out theyre roles.

CHEESE, I'd like to start a section on the forums decidated to RP'ing without GM interferance aside from someone running the NPC's in any RP thread.

if you want to run it joint you'll have to find someone interested and work it out with them how you want to do it, i will be handing out GM positions for seperate games to whoever wants them IF they meet my standards (which i might add are NOT low)

Since I've noticed a serious decline on posting in my game, and it's myu fault, I decided to make a little change. From now on I will only post instalments on weekends (Friday and Saturday, cause you now, it's a Jewsih country) but you can be sure that I will do so. This is a promise I will defienately keep.

So if you want a rapid reply to your post, post somewhere during/just before the weekend. Otherwise you'll have to wait a week or so.

Oh, by the way, if there's anyone who hasn't got his storyline adcanced inover a week, tell me. I will do my best to catch up before the weekend.
