Our freedom to partyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!
Maybe some of them hate freedom of speech and expression in certain situations, and some others might hate freedom of religion. I doubt it's much of a factor to them, though. I bet they only hate freedom of speech when it's used to dis them or their culture.

I think they must hate Christmas heaps because it's so much more glamorous and profitable than any of their religions.

And let's not forget our freedom to enjoy Paris Hilton sex tapes on the Internet. I personally condone terrorism if it's aimed at taking out Paris Hilton and the civilian death toll doesn't exceed a dozen.

How so? Back it up.

I don't think "terrorists" are so much against freedoms as they are the culture. Of course, you could argue that we are "free" to drink alcohol, practice other religions, call Mohammed a towel-wearing pedophile, etc., and that, if the "terrorists" had their way, those and other aspects allowed by our culture would be removed, and thus, they would be against those freedoms to do those things.
Remember, "freedoms" aren't necessarily limited to those expressly defined to those in the Constitution.
So often times it happens, that we live our lives in chains, and we never even know we had the key...

Masturbation and Rights to women; though I agree with the women thing! Those feminists won't stop 'til men don't have the right to vote.

Um, yeah, they prolly hate the freedom to get rich off someone else's oil, when they don't personally see a penny of it, kuz their leaders take all the money to buy American weapons and build palaces, and statues, while they are sent out to fight the actual wars on empty stomachs.

They don't hate our freedoms. In fact before WWII many arabs came to the US thinking that copying our institutions were the way to navigate the stormy waters left by the fall of the Ottoman Empire and the disinterest of the European colonial powers.
What they hate is what they preceive as our Imperial hubris, and unwanted interjection of our culture; not our freedoms.

The freedom to watch Borat and Jackass II back-to-back at the cinema, which was possible earlier this year.

Exactly, the "terrorists" dont hate freedom they hate those that have done them wrong in someway regardless of freedon.
The fact of the matter is those that hate people being free are not the people, they are the ruling class, the bourgoise if you will and they are not specifically in the Middle East they are everywhere.. I can come up with many examples how your governemt and my government wants to get rid of our freedoms and rights.

No wait, I changed my mind. The terrorists hate your right to bear arms. It sickens them and runs completely counter to their culture and beliefs.

I always thought it was "To MOOOOO-NAY", but that's probably because for some reason that scene of Jerry McGuire was playing somewhere around everytime I was listening to that song.
Anyway. I thought that it was pretty clear: Terrorists don't hate freedom, they just hate Jews.

Nah, I thought about it, and it's definitley the right to breathe free in a free land of freeness.
Actually, the 9-11 attacks are a pretty clear sign that what they really hated was the domination of the poor by the wealthy by the application of usury and interest, which devaluates the wealth of the poor and gives the ability for large estates to be self sustaining regardless of social or economic productive out put.
In short, they hate that the rich are getting richer, and the poor are getting poorer.
I can't say I blame them.

Our freedom to sit around and have a happy meal maybe? Or that we can buy a nice pair of shoes and forget about the lives that people in other countries have to endure? Our freedom to religion is a good point though, but thats only assuming that the paricular terrorist is religious...
By the by, which type of terrorist are we talking about here?
There are many truths in this world. No one thing is ever real. No one thing is ever right. No one person can ever know the whole truth, regardless of the facts they possess.

Muslim extremists who resort to terrorism (which I believe are the particular brand of terrorists we're discussing here) do in fact channel their anger mostly towards Jews, entities they consider as Jew-friendly (i.e. the Western World) and whichever sect of Islam that they do not belong to (i.e. Shi'te or Sunni).
I mean, you don't see them performing attacks in the name of the disintegration of Eskimoland.
So I correct my statement: They do some hatin' pretty much on everything, but they specially hate Jews.

it is very simple, it is our freedom of Religion, and the right to express how we feel openly, and to challenge the system if we think it needs to change. Basically they hate the fact that they can not control us, like they do there Women,..
on a more serious note they Hate our freedom to take there lovely women and make Porn movies with them proving once and for all Americans have the biggest penises is the world. they are very scared of the time prophesied in the Quran when all there women will enjoy our huge girth and leave there terrorist asses.
I am pretty sure that is it.lol

Exactly, it is obvious that Xtesh does not know the true nature of our enemy. They do not hate Judaism or Christianity per se. Their religion preaches tolerance of Christians and Jews and dictates that they allow these groups to practice their religion without harassment. Even the Taliban allowed Christian humanitarian groups to work in Afghanistan and practice their religion (however, they were forbidden to attempt to convert Muslims).
What they hate is what they see as an invasion of their lands by Jews with a political agenda (Zionism). They do not think that this applies to all Jews, just the Israelites. As for the US they view us as 1) modern Crusaders and 2) tools of the Zionists.
