Also, pendulum will hopefully be releasing a new album this April!

Days Go By
Renegade Snares
Twilights Last Gleaming
Music Is Everything
Breif Encounter
Make it Tonight
Remember the Future

Some good tracks right there, by High Contrast.

Hello there, i recently started listening to Drum and bass, mainly pendulum (thanks to aerosphere :D) I still need to check out a few other artists as i see you are getting bored of all the "OMFG PENDULUM ARE TEH ROXORS" posts. But pendulum are really, very good.

So, may i join?

So I was listening to my DnB playlist and theres 1 song that will never get old. Well to me atleast.

Freedom Failure - One Life Left (John B Remix)

That is such a tight Drum and Bass track.

John B makes some good DnB tunes, also.

Renegade Snares is by Omni Trio and Remember the future is by London Elektricity.
Check out "Return of Forever" and "Everything's Different" High Contrast though ;) If you're into high contrast Calibre is also a recommender.

Right yea, I was looking through the IDv3 tags of those I had set up and what you say is true. Although what I am talking about are the High Contrast Remix's of those, that is since it reads that in the tags.

Here's a sneak preview (well a loop, really) of a DnB song i started working on today. It's only 10 sec, u know u have the time to check it out. ;)

It's basicly just beat and a bass so far (a quite complex made bass, split up around 255Hz to manage the lower and the higher part separatley, and alot of stuff made along the way...). I want a pad in the full song to brighten things up, but perhaps I'll have to alternate bass/pad or some other trick (LP/HP something)... Or whatever. :)

Ok. I listen to Jungle. I grew up with that stuff. I don't like all this new stuff like Pendulum and Dieselboy. They're great producers, but they just don't appeal to me. But Jungle is the best. The Dj's and the Rasta vocals make a nice treat. :D\

Great Jungle:

Origin Unkown
Barrington Levi (Jungle Mixes)
UK Apache
Hyper on Experience
Omni Trio
Acen
Jimmy J
The Prodigy
Capone
OLD OLD OLD Ez Rollers

FUCK YEAH

Anyways, I'll name a few of the greats people should know about. A few have already been mentioned.

Concord Dawn:
Composed of 2 guys, Evan and Matt. They use, or used to use Fruity Loops as their main tool, surprisingly.

Calyx:
Has the most original bass lines of almost any artist I've heard. Has his own unique dark sound.

Noisia:
3 guys from Holland, and fucking beasts in the dark part of DnB.

London Elektricity:
Great on the light side of DnB.

Also great -
Logistics

Uses Reason 2.5 8)

High Contrast

Uses Reason 3 8)

Teebee
Evol Intent

Uses a lot of sampling, and is fucking amazing at it.

Black Sun Empire

Good, but everything has to have the a similar sound.

Messiah
State of Mind
Nu:Tone
Klute

Low key DnB.

John B

Electrostep ftw.

Dieselboy
Phace
Cyantific

And everyone else on the Hospital record label.

yeh yeh.

Also, Geier is amazing.

Yeh.

Set me Free is so unftastic.

Also, I recently developed a large liking for Ed Rush & Optical.

Yeh yeh.

ALSO, Noisia has a free 54 minute mix available for download on their myspace.

Scolldown, and look for the mix link on the left. 8)

There's also a short, neat little 5 minute jumble of songs, too.

I have a new drumset, I got it about 5 months ago, early birthday present, It's a 6pc Mapex M series 100% Maple. My cymbals are 14" Sabian AAX Metal hats, 16" Sabian AAX Stage crash, 20" Sabian AAX Metal ride. I plan on getting a 17" or 18" Sabian AAX Stage crash.
