Thank you! I've tried to explain it like this a million ways to my mother, but nothing gets through to her. I was raised Catholic, although I'm not practicing now. I still have debates with my mom. I think by now though she it set in her ways and will not change her mind. (She doesn't think that GLBT people should die horrible deaths, but she is completely against it.)

I've read a few articles on godhatesfags and some branch-off sites of the WBC. It's really interesting to see how ignorant some of these people are. Not only do they hate fags, they also despise:

Americans, Politics, Canadians, Swedes, Jews, Catholics, and anyone that is somehow related to any of those mentioned. Actually, according to some different articles that I have read, they hate anyone outside of the Westboro Baptist Church, and wish damnation upon them. Also, the "church" condones child beating, and it is rumored that most of the members are part of the same family. (inbreeding?)

The assholes exploit the U.S. constitution in order to spout their propeganda and protest, even at funerals where family and friends are mourning the loss of the dearly departed. Not only do they make themselves look like idiots, it reflects poorly on the entire christian religion.

If it weren't for the legal system, I would probably encourage you to soak their asses, but it's illegal.
