all tutorials colab 07

this thread is not for recrution. it is for sugestions. I am starting a new tutorial colab made by the masters of flash. it is an invite deal. that meens that none of you "non masters" will be in. this is for sugestions. i need to know what you the people want to know how to do. like if you want a clock tutorial, we will put it on. if you want a preloader tutorial we will put it on. so fell free to make sugestions from things you have seen in other flashes and you would like to know how to do!!!

ps. no biching. i just want sugestions. do not post if you are going to say " oh thats bs, that doesent need to be int there" to the last person who was newer to flash. thnx < :)

ya know, I think it would be cool to make a tut on an RPG that's not a fixed area. like where the area moves with you as you move along. I've never seen one of those!

Ok, but don't you think an actuall master should start the collab then?
I'm not saying that you suck or anything, but seriously, from the looks of you submissions, you don't seem like a flash master.

Your tutorial is problematic.

If you are going to run a collab, you'll need a 3.0 batting average, meaning it won't fly here, where most of the Flash dev's from the Tutorial Collab 2006 came from. Secondly, I question your Flash experience and ability to pull of a massive collab together. Start small, and work up. Really, running a collab is a lot more work than you think. And third, yes, Depredation ran and perfected the Tutorial Collab '06, and he's making a 2007. It'll be hard fighting to find developers who know you aren't the original developer, and probably will have your project less supported.

So, I'm not trying to kill your hopes and dreams, but try to find something that is a bit more your own project, and come back once you have a 3.0 batting average to start a collab. You might find the waters a bit calmer and a few more developers who want to help you out.

jmtb02... thank you for your truthfull post, but that rule is just bullshit. nobody is going to stop me from running a colab just cause my batting average is below three. that rule is bs. and im not copying off the tutorial colab 07, im just making one ov my own. also who came up withthat gay ass 3.00+ batting averge rule. its gay!

also, iknow that it will be hard, but it wont be that hard. everyone makes there part and sends it to me over email. i string it all up, put the gotoAndPlay actions on the buttons and its redy!

Third, please dont steal other peoples ideas and try and claim them as your own. Dep will start then collab when he is good and ready.

No your not. You stole my idea, changed it very very slightly, didn't ask, and have organised it badly. In what way will it be better? Don't try and stop me before i've even started >:).

Also, as John mentioned, you don't have a high enough BA to start a collab. If you want to become friends with people and start a collab why not abide the rules?
I'm sorry if i sound rude, but The Tutorial Collab is my baby, and i'm not going to let it go so easily :P.

The mods ARE going to stop you. The mods set up up that rule, and you're supposed to follow it. And just WHAT will you be doing in the collab, anyway? putting it all together? hah. Yeah right. That's so much work.

wait more before you teach people. every time someone figures out how to make pong they think they're ready for a tutorial, and they teach horrible methods and stupid ways because they still have a lot to learn themselves. so us something you can do and well say if your good enough

Even though this thread is definetly problematic and I in no way support iamironman's attempt to pull this off, I still find that TC 2007 should have a thread open for suggestion.
