In Canada we have our Thanksgiving in October, so there are no commercial holidays between Halloween and Christmas. But as soon as Halloween is over, the Christmas commercials start appearing on TV.

I never even heard of Black Friday 'till last year. And back then it was a lot about the HD-DVD vs Blu-Ray format war.

This year I know of two stores that will be celebrating it. But I don't think I'll be going here. Or maybe I will.

BTW, I should show you guys a more recent pic of myself - I have put on quite a bit of weight...

The quality of your cam is about the same as the one I used in 2004 (Remember the pic of me and Benny at my place?), but the one on my EEE PC is far better - I'm considering using it for a pic of myself.

Well, back then he was a minor, much like you were, so that wouldn't have gone well for him and his parents. Now if he were eighteen and bi-curious at the time, then maybe things would have happened...

Oh well, there is always the Montreal meetup...

I think we went over the fact taht although ben was 15, he was one year shy of the age of consent, but the rest of us, at 16 were.

I'm hoping that I can make it to Montreal next summer. I'll have to get a taste for beer if we're going to a beer festival.

Personally I wouldn't touch anyone unless they were eighteen or older - Though I do think seventeen-and-a-half may be old enough.

Is this going to be one of those German beer fests?

No, Seven dreamt about she asking it, and then you dreamed about Seven dreaming that she said that it, but without knowing she had dreamed it, and then it came true.

A lot of people actually live in the city and may let a few folks stay at their place. Some folks like afro-ninja got a hotel room with another person and then let others pass out on the floor of the room.

I don't smoke. I drink on occasion, maybe once a week I have a drink with dinner or a glass of wine and some finger food in the evening. I don't really get drunk more than once every great while.

And what about you? Did you get your own room, stay at a local's place, or pass out on the floor in Afro-Ninja's room?

I'd hate having to go it alone, but I'm not sure if anyone would take me in - Maybe we could share a room and split the cost?

Yeah, I'm pretty much like that too. Though it probably wouldn't take much to get me to drink myself to death.

I crashed on Afro's floor with a throng of other folks. you won't be alone! I went up there without a place to park my van and somebody let me park at their house and Afro let me sleep at his hotel room. Funny thing is, he let me sleep at his hotel the night before mod meet in philly, but I gave him a $20 for it since I didn't pitch in last time.

I don't know what my money situation is yet for next summer though, I'm sort of in some financial trouble at the moment. Had to take out another student loan this week to cover some living costs that I didn't budget for.

We don't get a roommate until January and an extra $950 next friday and $1000 in late January will help pad the funds, but as always, gotta pay them back.

I caught some weird shit in Montreal. Around 4am during montreal meet I started throwing up. I brushed it off as being a lightweight that night, but when I was still throwing up when I woke up the next morning and felt like I had some serious flu symptoms I figured it wasn't just the booze.

Since flying may be the best way for me to get to Montreal, will I need to rent a car to get to and from the place of rest?

I've never had to take out a loan in my entire life - At least not with interest. Maybe that's just the way I roll, but I hope you hang in there.

Pay who, what, where, when, why, how?

Funny, I caught some weird shit in Alberta that gave me shivers and made me feel too blah to do anything exciting. Every time I took a Tylenol my chills would turn to sweats, but I eventually beat it on my own.

I stayed away from intoxication not because of my morals, but because I'm cheap; those habits are expensive. I prefer wealth accumulation.

no, done with Microeconomics. I still have math, on the 18th. I've seen the final models; it's going to be mass rape.

I haven't been in school since like early 2005. But I have been working full time.
