though, I managed to pop out a 4 page essay for my Anime class last night before we watched Totoro

yay! I handed in a paper about the provincial bank, and we've already presented it, so yay!
I also got my Financial Math test back

n= (log(Sni*i+C(1+i))-log(C(1+i)))/log(1+i)

and I got full marks =D

I didn't actually hand my teacher the essay I had written when I went to watch the movie :/

I went to feed the cat the next night and saw the only copy I had printed of my essay laying on the kitchen table...and I immediately e-mailed my teacher. She didn't grade what I handed in (wound up being the original draft for it) and took my essay.

I got an 80 on yet another unexpected test in Biology. I had the 6th highest grade (I think I've had the 6th highest grade in exams all semester) and the class average was in the low Cs, so I did well compared to the group of retards in the class. Thats what you get for taking 101 level biologies.

I'm now no longer moving to Arizona. We've decided on Plymouth State University in Plymouth, New Hampshire because NH is awesome.

they have bridge programs into a private college for graduate studies in both of my fiancee's and mine feilds.

I'm looking at law now. She's still all excited to do physical therapy.

I just want to do law to have esquire as a suffix to my name ^_^

Did you get it back already? My culture teacher told me that my essay was "very good, as usual" =)

We were supposed to have a biology test today, and we told the teacher "naahhh, don't take it" and he said "mmmk"

no, I handed it to her on Thursday. We don't have class again until tonight. I'll get it back tonight.

I got a 90 on a quiz yesterday in the same class and was just as not ready for it. Also, I was 5th highest in the class, not 6th.

it's technically an agreement the two universities have with each other. One will teach classes to the standards of the other one, and when those students go on to graduate school, the other university will take their credits.

Like, say you are going to one school and it's a public university and there's this private university you want to go to graduate school at...and you find out that your public school has a program with the private school to get the public students into the private school with a smooth transition.

the program is called a "bridge" program around here, as it's not unlike a bridge between two places...you cross it and you're on the other side...and you didn't have to swim.

what about living a life of danger, and becoming a forest ranger?

-Anyways, I took an entrance exam about a month ago for Lincoln Tech and I blew the test away, as in I passed it. I'm excepted into that Trade School. Yay! :D

I wish it were on youtube now...but the other day I saw an episode of the Colbert Report and they were having a quiz show thing with a guest to see who could make the best analogy and they had to make one for "an accountant" and they both said some insanely hilarious thing about being sad and dull and suicidal.

now I know you're looking at being an economist, but just pretend that I posted the link and we all had a laugh, k?

Thanksgiving? Mal, can you actually explain to me wtf that holiday is all about? Being an Aussie, my collective knowledge of the day stems from watching movies - i.e. I know you all get together like it's Christmas and have a big dinner together. Then at Christmas you do the same...

Or is Thanksgiving after Christmas? I don't know.

Anywaysss - Hello to the many newcomers... I don't think I've posted here in at least 6 months or something. I'm just about to do my last high school exam ever tomorrow afternoon, so I r very pumped.
Then, off to schoolies week up the coast to get completely smashed with my mates... and then after that a lazy slacker summer - the best yet, since I won't have to walk anywhere (Car, license, WOO).

Hopefully I'll drop by again before the year's out and greet you slacking lot again.

^_^

Then at Christmas you do the same...

the way we celebrate it is that when the first "pilgrims" came over from England, they made these colonies. I'm not sure which one or where, probably Plymouth, Mass...

This was before colonization, when social outcasts and religious zealots who were kicked out of England fled to the Americas in hope of creating their own tolerant society. like, 1500s or so.

Either way, the colonists were poor farmers on the new land and were about to find out what winter in New England really was all about (not fun..at least for them)

So these natives (indians) showed up and taught them how to plant corn and how to farm the land correctly.

At the end of autumn the pilgrims had a giant feast to celebrate the harvest and invited the area natives to the feast. Both natives and pilgrims shared their feast together in harmony.

history is probably skewed, but the thought is there...being thankful for the friendship that they were given and sharing with friends and family alike what they grew that year.

Its celebrated on the last Thursday of November, so it's this coming Thursday.

Canada has a thanksgiving too...though I don't know why the hell they do..but theirs is in october or something like that. They also celebrate boxing day or some shit in January, the week after christmas.

Anywaysss - Hello to the many newcomers... I don't think I've posted here in at least 6 months or something. I'm just about to do my last high school exam ever tomorrow afternoon, so I r very pumped.

congrats...unless of course if you fail the exam and thus fial high school..in which case I would have to disown you forever and call you an utter failure every chance I get.

Hopefully I'll drop by again before the year's out and greet you slacking lot again.

^_^

Please do. I don't know these people either and I'm lonely around them!!!

It was actually very interesting. You go in there expecting things you've seen on TV...but it's not really like that at all.

I just keep thinking about scenes from Fight Club with people hugging and sobbing and that. I was disappointed when it didn't happen. I wanted emotional release.

Sounds epic. What type of addictions do you have to use in your essay? Money, Drugs, Smoking, Sex, Cars, etc? :/

well, since I had to attend an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, I'm banking on writing my essay about alcoholics anonymous...seems a safe bet.

there has also been no evidence of any addiction to cars, sex, money, computer games, etc... although, some people claim they are "addicted" they really just have problems with their hierarchy of priorities.
