I have a little problem with movie clips right now, the movie clips with animation do not play while i am in the timeline of Flash 8, but when i preview the movie or play it, it animates. i would like it to play like everything else while working on the timeline, how do i "activate" this?!

Convert it to a graphic. They're a lot easier to work with on the main timeline.

If its a graphic u can see it. but if you're making a game then you're fucked since u have to use MC's

Plus you need MC-s to use filters.
