Well, technically it is,

It doesn't matter. You could lie under oath about what you ate for breakfast, it's still an impeachable offense.

And they call us Americans lazy for not bothering to learn much about Europe. Seriously, if you don't have an actual informed opinion to offer, don't bother to respond.

Iraq is not a bloody fiasco. 3,000 is nothing compared to the last major war the US fought; Vietnam. Furthermore, the amount of Iraqis who have died as a direct result of the US military is less than 40,000. Most of the Iraqi deaths have been at the hands of insurgents that has inevitably come around due to the inherent social fault lines in Iraqi society.

I saw that you are a future Marine. Guess what, it ain't Boy Scout camp. You're going to learn to be a killer, to fight America's wars and quite possibly die. However, the US military makes every effort to limit how bloody our wars are on BOTH sides. The result is a "illegal" and "immoral" war that is also pretty much among the most humane and least bloody wars in military history.

Our intelligence indicated that Saddam had WMDs was confirmed by several of our allies' intelligence services. Now, when you go through USMC training you'll learn there are three different classifications of WMD: Nuclear, Chemical and Biological. The last two are hard to detect and there is still bio material out there that we are looking for, or that was probably shipped out of the country prior to invasion. Furthermore, Clinton considered expanding the war (believe it or not, the Air Force has been at war continuously for 15 years against Iraq...) in late 2000 but decided against it due to Presidential ettiquite that dictates that it would not be right to saddle the incoming administration with a war that it did not start. And guess what his temptation was? Saddam selling 'oil for food' oil in Euros instead of Dollars, which would've devestated the value of our currency on the international money market.

Finally, if it was not part of the GWOT it now is. It has became a training ground for al-Qaida, and if we were to pull out now they would claim victory and would be emboldened to carry out more attacks.

bill wasnt impeached you fucktard... also bill Clinton was one of the best presidents ever... but because some bitch licked his dick he is now a monster!

1) Bill Clinton was impeached; pay attention in your American government class. An impeachment is an indictment. And the dictionary definition of indictment is:

a formal written statement framed by a prosecuting authority and found by a jury (as a grand jury) charging a person with an offense

Now, impeachment proceedings did take place and Bill Clinton was impeached in 1998 by the US House of Representatives. This was done under the Article 1, Section 2, Clause 5 of the US Constitution.

The next step is outlined in Article 1, Section 2, Clause 6 which gives the power of removal to the Senate. In Bill Clinton's case he was not removed because the Republican controlled Senate realizied that while he had broken the law and committed a crime that most average Americans would go to jail over (perjury, NOT getting a BJ...), it would not be in the best interests of the American people to have him removed from office. (He was however disbarred.)

Furthermore, Article 2, Section 4 outlines that impeachment will be for: "treason, bribery and high crimes and misdemeanors". Thus impeachable offenses are not tied to criminal misconduct. Therefore, what Clinton was impeached for was Constitutionally acceptable.

Do you get the point yet? And a little advice for the next time that you call someone a 'fucktard':

1) Make sure you're right.
2) Make sure that you're not calling a superior intellect a 'fucktard'.

If you follow these two simple steps you won't look like a fool next time!

Most democrat republicans of that era didn't. Though I am an anarcho-capitalist I would of had to vote federalist back then.

The Federalist party disintegrated 1815-1830.
Franklin Pierce was president 1853 to 1857

You would've voted whig as opposed to democrat-republican.

3. Woodrow Wilson would maybe be the 7th worst.

Wilson maybe. He was a tad racist...

And if Bush was anything like FDR, he'd have been thrown out office by now.

God you keeping proving your points so eloquently! I mean you are so right. I mean lets forget that the Democratic party was opposed to ending slavery, the draft has been used much more than Democratic Presidents than Republicans and the Democrats have gotten us in more wars over the last 150 years than Republicans...

But you prove your point so well and back up with such great logic. I am incredulous!

And I suppose most people consider FDR and Lincoln good presidents, but I don't for a simple reason. As a minarchist and capitalist, I can't go along with everyone saying that those 2 were great.

No president has ever been impeached. Johnson missed that distinction by one vote. Precedings started against Clinton, but he came out on top.

It's going to be hard to find a worse President than George W. Bush. And this is coming from someone who's not a liberal or a Democrat!

The War, the fact he did nothing to help Hurrican Katrina victims, that retarded "Mission Accomplished" speech he gave....... I feel sorry for the poor bastard who's only going to have 4 years to clean up Bush's 8-year mess.

Both were indeed impeached. However study your Constitution and take an American government course. An impeachment is only an indictment, NOT a removal from office. Johnson was impeached by the US House of Representatives (the only part of Congress who can impeach someone...see my previous post for refrences to the Constitution), but after three votes following a trial in the US Senate (the only part of Congress who can remove someone) Johnson was accquited. However, just as once a person is indicted they have been indicted: Johnson had still been impeached.

In 1998 the same thing happened with Bill Clinton. The US House of Representatives exercised their sole power to impeach and passed Articles of Impeachement. At this moment in history Bill Clinton became the second President to be impeached by the US House of Representatives. However, like A. Johnson before him Clinton managed to avoid being removed from office.

It is a common misperception by Americans that impeachment=removal. That is simply not true.
