I suppose selective killing of elderly people who draw more from society than they put in would be a good thing, but again, the cost of setting up a database like that would be prohibitive.

Thankfully, I believe that society's moral values would prevail, preventing such cruel measures. There are many ways that these currently unproductive people could still contribute, in any measure. Laissez-faire government though is still in place, preventing such.
