What is this website?

Well, about 3421234 times a day on the BBS, I hear a reference to a genre/lifestyle called "Emo"...

100% of these references are incorrect.

So I figured I'd give all of you users out there the oppurtunity to educate yourselves on what Emo actually is. You may find that it's more than cutting yourself and having a black hairdo that covers only one eye.

Here you may also post any interesting tidbits you found on this site. Any education that you may have recieved and found interesting, feel free to post it.

As much as I hate to admit it, I think emo's definition has gone the way of gay's.
The connotation overrides the definition, and emo's connotation is one of aesthetics and outsider evaluated behaviour.
