I lost Paint. It's not on my start menu, and it's not under program files (I don't know if it ever was). Anyways, I took a shot in the dark and emailed Microsoft. I got a very courteous and polite review, however, it was unhelpful. This is probobly because I didn't ask my question very well. What I said was, I don't know where paint is, it's not in the recycle bin, it's not in my start menu, it's not in accessories. I didn't say that I had it before, so they told me to contact the manufacturer. I mean, I don't need Paint, I have other really great programs. I just want it; for convenience, for ease, for little stupid things like MS PAINT YOR SEKRETZ. Any suggestions or anything?

Or download it again, whichever.

Click Start. Click Run. Type "mspaint" and hit enter as hard as you can.
If that fails, download it.
I just realized I am also missing sound recorder. In fact, I am thinking that a lot of things are suddenly gone. Wait a minute, where's my volume control? AUUUGHHH! WTF? My entire "Entertainment" folder under accessories is is empty!

What you have my dear friend is a Trojan that is specifically targeting your program files (Apparently it is most interested in your entertainment section) I would not be surprised in teh least if it started trying to move beyond that by now. The best thing to do is either a complete system restore. Or you can be the hero and track that bitch virus down with 5 different virus programs like I do. (I actually only got three, but I'm safe) But considering the damage it's done. I'd say backup all your files on a CD, but make sure you scan them with anti-virus first, then you should do a system restore, that will get all your programs back, and start out fresh. aight?
Do it quickly or else the trojan might start deleting actual important stuff like the cabinets and anti-virus program, sooner or later the hacker will get into your credit card number.
