Why is Africa poor today?
1. They fail to set up an internal market. Because they have no infrastructure. Why don't they have infrastructure? Because they wasted lended money from the west on pointless investment.
2. They got aids. How do they get aids? Because some of them we're so stupid that they humped monkeys. (true story) Now they don't care enough about condoms, or they dispice them because the pope tells them not to do. Can't they just think for themselves? O wait i forgot, they aren't educated.
3. Education fails, because they spend all their money on refunding their dept.

You can say that they got tricked by the west or something, that we shuffled those debts through their throught, or they we're just so stupid to not invest it properly.

Mind that Sub-Sahara Africa hardly had any civilisation while in other continents there was writing etcetera.

"Education" in most of Africa are missionaries who tell the people "believe in what we tell you and we'll give you food."

Very true, it's basic economic principle. When you lack short term goods, long term goods (investments) pretty much go out the window. There won't be a long term if you don't look after the short term.

It's also not African's faults that a good portion of Africa doesn't really sustain crops well. Agriculture is the backbone of any successful society. You'll notice that places such as the Nile River basin are actually doing well for themselves.

Pride is a weak emotion, especially pride in something that you did not have anything to do with, like heritage. You should respect it, but there is no reason to be proud of it, you did not build it, you did not help it, you did not take part in it. At least reserve pride for something you have done.

But helping to sustain that heritage is just as good a reason for being proud as creating it is, if it's beautiful :)

Pride and devotion go hand-in-hand, and look where those two features have guided countless people to strive to achieve more than wearing black clothes and bitching about animal rights. Sorry for the generalization, just using it for selfish means.

Pride is not merely reserved for accomplishments, either. Pride can be held for works-in-progress (as this Alan Jackson song I'm listening to can attest to). I can have pride in being a good parent, lending me strength that mere respect can't.

I hate to speak against you, but the things and services he/she listed were all invented and thought up by Europeans. As much as you may hate the fact that we enslaved and conquered people of other races ( and in our history people of our own), we have elevated blacks to a point they probably would not have reached for another few hundred thousand years.

They may have been invented by Europeans, but it wasn't built in the U.S. by them. Blacks have been in the U.S. since it's inception, and have helped build the country. Although not treated equally, they have worked alongside the whites throughout most of U.S. history.

I don't see why everyone is making a big deal over this "cracker" thing. Cracker does not have the same history has the n-word. Cracker doesn't really matter much. Anyone who thinks cracker is offensive is retarded.
