That's because you haven't been using the latrine. You can't just stick it all in the corner and hope no-one notices.

hmm, but wait - why are ppl wanting to join? Do they know the perks of being in the politics crew, and I just don't, or are they just trying to fit in?
either way, I want to throw in my hat in the application pool!
(no, but - is the politics crew's own forums very active? what are the perks?)
The one thing force produces is resistance.

The perks of joining the PC? Umm..
Cookies.
It's just a forum thing. Or you could try and rebel and join the DAG. Same group, different name.
Almost all of the regulars are DAG or PC affiliated. PC are mostly the longtime regs, DAG are mostly new. There's a few of old and new in both, though. Some people call the PC conservative and the DAG liberal, but the truth is both sides are just separate groups of politics regulars, and neither is polarized towards any side.
I'm a PC member. Never officially joined the DAG, though.
Click on my sig for the PC site.
The Politics Crew is mainly about general politics, and is a kind of social club. We don't have any official views, and it's more about getting to know your fellow posters. It's about being you, and speaking your mind. DAG is the same, except they specialize in practicing debate tactics through adopting unpopular views (Devil's Advocate Group, get it?)
Having said that, there are votes underway at the PC website for all applicants.

I always thought it was the other way around, I can only really think of one conservative member of the PC.

Who, me? Were you thinking of me, or somebody else? I think that there is a few of us actually. Who did you have in mind?

The activeness of Snooble (our home) varies from time to time. But the purpose of the PC is to foster intelligent debate. We enjoy debate, and do our best to keep the Politics forums clean and worth visiting (that is to say, not all Bush Is Ghey topics).

Reminds of me of that girl in class today who lashed out against our president for getting us involved in Desert Storm and Iraq at the same time. People never cease to amaze me.
I must lollerskate on this matter.

Are the results posted here or on the PC website? Or just e-mailed? Or maybe even one of those cool things where some shady guy delivers a random key and you go to open a mail box and there's a gun and instructions inside! ..err...I mean nothing.
I must lollerskate on this matter.
