Then I could ask you how the universe just existed from nothing. I believe in God thus I believe in an infinite power. Man cannot accurately explain the concept of infinite because nothing is infinite in our world. God is infinite in knowede an power. God is infinite therefore he was never created. God will never end.
God is simply a rough scratch of the head from people who are just simply trying to figure out the way the universe works, personally - i think the people who thought about him first had some good ideas - just tried to present them in a far too literal sense because obviously it is much more complicated than a "God". (Personally, i think it's all to do with energy).

That a good conclusion but you assuming your "God" is simple being. A simple being cannot create a balanced ecosystem out of nothing. That's asinine. God is all complex and we will never understand God thats why God is an idea that is easy to reject.

Your thread isn't the only proof of that fact. Anyone with a brain knows the true origin of Christmas.

I really feel that the idea of God is just a way of getting your mind past the things that people cannot comprehend. Theres more to it than creation, it doesn't follow the basic basic rules of the universe energy has to have a source. don't you think God could just be an example of how the people years ago were trying to explain energy. I mean, they described it giving the fate for everything, being everywhere and being incomprehendable. Just sounds like a too literal explanation of simple energy glow around the universe

How can you really be an atheist? Like someone else said, Earth didn't just appear one day. The life on earth HAD to come from something, its just not logical to think all these different species spawned from dirt, and space dust....

Its like a 50/50 chance theres a god.... but i don't think its the god depicted in the bible at all. I personally think The gods Egyptians worshiped were the real ones..

Call me delusional but thats my belief.

That's why I like debating our origins. They are all theories. We can never fully prove who is right or wrong. We just have to look at what we know and decide for ourselves. What makes sense to me won't always make sense to you and vice versa.

Ok, who the fuck cares about the birth of Jesus on Christmas? No one. Christmas is not a religious holiday anymore if you ask me.

Athiests don't need a new Holiday. We have Christmas. It works fine.

If an atheist is cool and isn't against my religion that's cool. I will befriend him but if he is a total jerk in what I believe in then no.
