I don't really have too much time to work on my 'first-flash game' thingy lately, but I think it's getting pretty nice. The whole engine is pretty much finished, now I'm working on enemy AI (for the types of enemies other than Alien fighters that is), the levels and the damned Pulse Gun special weapon which I just can't get right. Oh yeah, and animations. ASing >>>>>>>> drawing and animating

You steer by moving the mouse (you have to move at at least 50 km/h to maintain maneuverability), speed up by holding space, shoot by clicking the mouse, and drop bombs with "z".

It's quite a good game, very addictive and is quite action packed. Could do with a little shooting but overall its really really good.

It's looks really good so far, I like the destructeable terrain and contorls are quite nice to. The graphics aren't super awesome or anything, but not that bad either.
Well, I really like it. Continue like this and you'll have yourself an awesome game.

Well, 'first' as in 'the first one I plan to actually finish and show other people'. Practice runs don't count.

That was fantastic! Seriously, if that were in the portal, that'd win so many awards, even maybe a front page! It was so fun and addictive, which most animators/coders find hard to do. But you did that superbly!

Some advise: Big boss fights. Yeah, that'd be cool. . .

Pretty good game you got there...but i myself think that you should change the movement cause it's kinda hard to use but other than that awsome

Very nice, but the limiting view is an issue to me. It's too fast-paced to be played on such a small screen. I like the destructible terrain.

Working on a bigass Mothership boss-thing right now, many times the size of the screen (essentially a big, moving chunk of a level), with its own sentry guns, force fields and defense-forces producing hangars. It doesn't have hit points like the other enemies - you have to basically drill (like you can with the terrain – the mothership is destructible too) to its generator and bomb the hell out of it.

Shoulda be fun.
