You know, My friend was born chunky, he's big boned, has fine cholesteral, etc. so my friend is exceptionally healthy. BUT everytime he goes to the doctor they always try to put him on a diet or make fun of his fat. Some people are chunky for a reason, in fact, he's really tall also so I'm starting to wonder if doctors are constantly trying to put everyone in a fat farm. Just because someones a little chunky does'nt mean their unhealthy. Does anyone agree?

I don't buy it. You are not born fat. Yes, during childhood and puberty there are natural patterns of weight change, such as gaining significant weight for three months, then growing several inches and losing the weight in the process one month later, but there is a limit to what is "natural."

Anyone who becomes obese as a child is not just born with that "kind of body." Obesity is a life-threatening state which practically cuts a child's lifespan in half if they do not fix it. Overweight, etc. are reasonable, but there is a limit, and beyond that no excuses can be made; action must be taken instead.

They are testing a new drug which makes the brain think the stomach is full. Now if the tests go smoothly in 3/4 generations there could be little to no over weight people.

Actually, some people are born with the "endomorph" body type, which is built to carry a lot more weight in general, both muscle and fat.

Well, i can't say i disagree with you but i understand why. I am 6'5 feet tall and weigh about 400lbs. But i am not obese. i do not waddle and can run decently. I am made fun of less than if i were smaller. I have a neck and am not considered a tub of lard. My height balcnces my weight and more people are interested in getting me to play on a football team rather than make fun of me. I feel sorry for the people who are made fun of constantly but i do believe that they should not complain about it. I think that if they are made fun of constintly, that should build a will to change, and give them motivation to lose weight and build muscle so that next time they are made fun of, they can fight back with more than words. lose some weight and i dont mean takeing a fat-loss pill, i mean moveing a bit more, i mean COMON! if the fattest person in the world lost his weight by doing situps in his bed (he was to fat to leave his bed for 15 years) than you can. face it, a skinny person is a healthy person (but not too skinny), if you are over weight than you are not beutiful, you may be a good person, but you are not healthy.

Weight loss pills only speed up your matabolism, not take away weight, so if you do not move the best you can do is break even, if you starv your self your body stores more fat than regular so if you diet without exersise you GAIN WAIGHT.

It's not your fault if you have only one leg or one arm, so people shouldn't make fun of you about that.
But if you look ridiculous because of what you wear, it is your fault. Therefore I can make fun of you if you wear stupid clothes.
In all cases, when someone has a handicap, he shouldn't make fun of anyone else because it would be very easy to make fun of him, and basically we don't do it, so he should be gentle because of his handicap.
