In this topic. Let's give facts about what makes a perfect music. What you like to see in music. Add on to mine
- Good voices
- Clear and good on the ears
- Not too loud
- Not too pitched.
- Not too much bass power
- Longer than 40 seconds
- Understandable (Not stupid or too static/dynamic)
- Good pace
- Drums match the rhythm/melody
- Prefferable if it's around 2MB for loading
- Not too mixed up
I'm not too good at naming what a perfect music track would be. So how about you people try and point out some things you like to see in music?
What ive always learned is "never make your drums too repeative". Ive never known what it means, but, its advice.
Please tell me how to un-repeative my drums.
Ditto. "Really good music" is defined by the listener's tastes. How to make good quality stuff can be tought though. Making sureyour audio doesn't clip is a good start: somewhere between -3dB and -6dB is good.

Well, for a second there, I thought you were talking about the -music- and not so much the music-vs.-internet.
In all honesty, music needs to be an artistic expression. There are exceptions to this, but few are good. Anyone who treats music any differently is usually raping it from what it really is.

Check my page, that's perfect. Nah just kidding, I'm shit. I think if you make audio and you put some work in it, even loops, it's perfect...
perfect music sounds perfect. that's really all there is to it.
but i'll break it down.
1. proper mixing
2. proper eq
3. proper sound
4. right instruments playin' the right things
5. the size of the music in terms of the fact that it must sound the perfect size for the type of emotion
6. the song itself without lyrics explain the entire story and once you add lyrics it defines the story
that's about it for me. anything else is just sound or an attempt at jammin' or noise.
