I received a call earlier telling me that I was given a contract to do flash publicity for a huge website, so the timing for the tablet is just incredible.

Altought I support the mouse Wacom Tablets are better for drawing :D

that was pretty cool with the tablets though. it's really awesome that there's a kind of interaction with the admins like that. i'm keeping my faith in NG as long as you promise not to become a subsidiary of some bullshit marketing corp with money.

Those tablets sound cool, but I still prefer the mouse because it's more of a challenge for me :/

I want a wacom tablet so bad...

My school had those 4x5 tablets, and I liked it, except for it's size. I'm thinking about asking for one for Christmas, but due to some fuckin' school levies (and the school which happened to be built RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET FROM US, thus ass raping us with taxes) our limit is $100. I get about $150 from relatives though. What size could I get with $250? I'm checking right now, but seriously, I guess maybe 6x8 intuos? I've been eyeing them for awhile (especially after making my first flash for the portal, which is in my sig)

Aww Tom's a nice guy. I think that I'm going to buy a wacom tablet myself. My art sucks, but will at least be better with a stylus. I hope that the redesign is what it's hyped up to be.

I've had interest in one of those for awhile. But that's cool that some people got some free tablets. I hope they use them well and continue to create amazing work on NG.

And you must have received a pretty good discount from Wacom to be able to just give away 16 tablets that usually cost about $300 a piece. Congrats to all the artists that will be getting one.
