Wacom Tablets

Back in October, we surprised a few artists with Wacom tablets and requested for artists in need of tablets to contact me, in case we had another giveaway. My inbox was FLOODED with requests, so I made a list and am no longer taking requests at the moment.

I've since attempted to wrangle free promotional tablets from Wacom, to no avail. I did, however, get a bulk discount... So I've ordered A LOT of tablets. To celebrate the season of giving and say "thanks" to some of the people who help make NG what it is, I'll be sending Intuos3 tablets to the following artists:

altffour, ARMY-ranger, AsthmaticHamster, BoMToons, Kenney, EviLudy, Luis, Matzerath, Misterho, MrNinya, RobFeldman, SheriffBenson, squeakytoad, The-Super-Flash-Bros, TLG-Media and Toonimated!

You're the best community a site like us could ask for and we think of each and every one of you as part of the team. As the site grows, we're going to continue finding bigger and better ways to support all of you as you have supported us in good times and in bad. The NG community collectively produces some of the best entertainment on the web and we're just warming up! There are a lot of big plans for 2007, starting with the long-awaited launch of the redesign. Until then, enjoy the final months of the old NG. :)

This past week, RubberNinja's work appeared on national Australian television! The show is called Good Game and airs on ABC2. You can download the full December 12th episode on-line at http://www.abc.net.au/goodgame. I regret not announcing this BEFORE the show aired.

I intend to release Pixel Puncher within a week after the launch of the redesign. Fingers crossed. :)

Yeah. In orderto release in 2006, we would have had to chop it up and release pieces. We're trying to release with a more complete package.

About the audio contest, Tom, were you giving out prizes for it? I know the creators of the contest were trying to get you to sponsor it but it didn't seem [to me] to get enough notice for such a thing.

Congratulations to the Flash artists who are getting Wacom tablets. I myself bought a Intuos 3 tablet and it works wonderfully. Use it for the greater good and share your creations with NG again =]

If it was new, does it have a warranty? If it's less than a year old it may have a warranty on it and you could ship it back to Wacom to get it fixed. You would have to check their website, or call them, for information on their warranty.
