I was just wondering what's the most people have ever spent on an instrument or music equipment. For me it would have to be the $600 I laid down on Mesa Boogie DC-5 Amp Combo.

Hmm... I once visited a music store, and bought 2 too damn expensive acoustic guitars, n audio card, a new MIDI keyboard, some audio software I never use... and that will be something around.. too lazy to calculate KR to $.

Oops, I meant NOK.
I spent 13´000 NOK (norwegian crowns) on my Numark HDX, that´s roughly about 2000 USD...

One moment I thought you were norwegian.
Then I remembered you were swedish.
Norden for the win!

Yep, i lived in norway for two and a half year, and i bought more or less all my audio gear at Filter Musikk in Oslo, so I had an awsome deal for the HDX... store price in norway would be around 17000, and i got it for 13k :)
$1296 for a Yamaha Keyboard
$400 for a Fender four-string Bass with Baditz-Maru of Hello Kitty on it.
Ive spent some sick amount on gear over the years. I think if i added up the totals my instruments have cost me i might have a heart attack :P Its a pity that decent instruments are so expensive, but at least you generally get what you pay for. As for the most ive spent, its either my Taylor 614ce or the Fender 1960 CS Relic. They're both fantastic guitars though, well worth the investment.
The most I've ever spent on music was $120.00 I bought a Digitech Death Metal Effects Pedal and 4 chords

Cool stuff.
Yeah plus it never gets pregnant and I can play it any time of the month.
I payed 12 bucks for a worn, used harmonica.
I don't play harmonica...
Anymore that is...
900 on my Alto Sax, and 750 on me beautiful MIDI keyboard (which is uselessly half the country away) :'(
$9,500 on a violin, and it's a really good one.
the only problem is that now i have no money for stuff i really want.
£450 on a Mini Mac. Yay Macs! And it's so small too! It's just about the dimensions of a 2 inch-high CD case.

boo-yah mac pride! second most was on my $2,500 imac g5 (pre-intel, pre-isight.)
Uh-oh, I smell a de-railment...
The new mac-intel hybrids are amazing (my brother has one). You get the best of both worlds: use OSX for music and graphics work, and use Boot Camp to load up XP when a game's-a-callin' for you.
