Amendments of Newgrounds 2006-12-09 23:46:10 Reply

(Mods don't take this seriously, it's just for fun, and to the regular users, these are not the new rules just a creative idea)

Bill of Rights

Amendment One, Freedom of topic choice.
Those on Newgrounds, will have the equal rights to make a topic of there choice, no matter if it's a Rate me thread or a choose your own adventure thread, a spam thread will not count as part of a first amendment and is free to be locked and deleted. A topic expressing a opinion or rating someone will count as part of the first amendment, locking or deleting these topics will be a violation of the first amendment and could get you a demotion of rank.

Amendment Two, No flaming
If a person is getting flamed for making a opinion or not such a smart post, they have the right to give the flaming user a warning, if this user continues to flame, it will then be considered a violation of the second amendment and will result in a punishment (Ban, termination, etc)

Amendment Three, Equal Rights
Not only popular users, but newbies will get the EXACT same respect as a popular or average user would, if a mod or admin watches over certain groups or individuals and punishes them, it will be considered a violation of this amendment. Users who are banned must get the same respect also.

Amendment Four, ALTS
Alts are now allowed, once created they are to have the same respect (As of Amendment 3) as normal users. The reason they are now allowed? You can never tell between idotic users or alts.

Amendment Five, Clubs and Crews
Did you just start a club? Did it get locked before the first reply? After this amendment, clubs are to stay alive, if no one likes it they will just die soon. Locking any clubs or crews unless it is spam will be a violation of this current amendment and will result in unlocking or punishment.

Amendment Six, Runescape and other games
Are you getting flamed to death (Not allowed after the second amendment) because you like a game? Need no more, if users do not like certain games, they are not to post within the thread unless it's something contributive, no matter if it's flame or no flame, other people like the game no need to post "This game sucks".

Amendment Seven, Ebaumsworld/habbo hotel officially free.
After this amendment passes, ebaumsworld and habbo hotel will be free from the raids and attacks on it that are planned by newgrounds. As well as the flaming on it, this amendment is similar to the second amendment, except it's directed to websites rather than members. If you post something good about another site, it will not be a violation aslong as it is not bad.

Amendment Eight, Reasons of Bans
Mods must always have a proper reason and a fair share of time when they give a ban out, not doing this will be a violation.

Amendment Nine, Privacy.
If users do not like other users to go through their profile of posts, they must request it. Going through the privacy will be a violation and will result in a BIG punishment.

Amendment Ten, Warning Labels.
You can no longer trick people into looking at pornography, lemonparty, or meatspin and get away with it, you must put a label on it like "NSFW" or "Warning this leads to a shock site". Failure to do this will result in a BIG punishment.

End of Bill of Rights.

Feel free to add your own amendments starting from 11.

Bill of Rights

Amendment One, Freedom of topic choice.

First, mods have no ranks. Second, there are enough of rate me threads and adventure threads.

Amendment Two, No flaming

Flame wars are illegal anyway, so why is there an amendment? The admendment saying the exact same thing as what is illegal, what a waste this one is.

Amendment Three, Equal Rights

Mods treat all users the same anyway. Even more of a waste than the second one.

Amendment Four, ALTS

No one said alts weren't allowed. They just can't be used to dodge bans. Hell, even some of the top experience useres have alts.

Amendment Five, Clubs and Crews

And if there is already a crew for that one was created, whats the point of keeping it? Bad admenment.

Amendment Six, Runescape and other games

Now you cutting into freedome of speech. A person has the same right to dislike a game, just as much as another person to like a game.

Amendment Seven, Ebaumsworld/habbo hotel officially free.

Freedom of speech again.

Amendment Eight, Reasons of Bans

They usually give a reason. About 95% of the time. There was this time my friend had a ban and it said ejsalkfjd;asjkfd as a reason. True story.

Amendment Nine, Privacy.

Or, a person can just not reveal personal information on there profile or posts if there worried so much.

Amendment Ten, Warning Labels.

How about just not posting it at all. That sounds alot better than warning labels.

End of Bill of Rights.

Feel free to add your own amendments starting from 11.

Overall, I think you did a bad job on these. Most of admendments are alreayd in affect by the rules now.

You take the internet way to seriously, honestly people like you always go around and kill the joke or fun.

Amendment Two, No flaming
Flame wars are illegal anyway, so why is there an amendment? The admendment saying the exact same thing as what is illegal, what a waste this one is.

Which is why I see at least two everyday?

Amendment Three, Equal Rights
Mods treat all users the same anyway. Even more of a waste than the second one.

Like I said in the first one, it was for fun

Amendment Four, ALTS
No one said alts weren't allowed. They just can't be used to dodge bans. Hell, even some of the top experience useres have alts.

Again, it was for fun.

Amendment Five, Clubs and Crews
And if there is already a crew for that one was created, whats the point of keeping it? Bad admenment.

Fun

Amendment Six, Runescape and other games
Now you cutting into freedome of speech. A person has the same right to dislike a game, just as much as another person to like a game.

unlike that idiot kidray76

i totally agree and i thought that they were very well done

i share these same thoughts and think about posting it but i know i'd be diping myself in gasoline

these rules are truly what the forums should be all about

it's just a shame that no admins or mods have enough humility to actually accept these terms

PM me i have an idea

Shit, everyone elect me as the president of Newgrounds and I will ban gay marriage.

Abortion I won't ban mainly because it's fun to see claws go into a womans vagina and a baby being pulled out.

I agree with you mostly, but what if it's just a racist trash talking topic. Those should not be allowed.

Amendment Two, No flaming

Like a beating, sometimes the only way people will learn is if they get flamed.

Amendment Three, Equal Rights

Agreed

Amendment Four, ALTS

I'm okay with this with one exception. If someone was banned because they were saying inapropriate stuff like racial slurs then I will not treat alts with respect.

Amendment Five, Clubs and Crews

I don't care about clubs and crews so i'm okay with it. Anyways, I'm a freelancer.

Amendment Six, Runescape and other games

What if it's an opinionated complaint about a game like, the reason this game sucks is because of its plot?

Amendment Seven, Ebaumsworld/habbo hotel officially free.

I disagree with this because of ebaumsworld stealing from Newgrounds but other than that, whatever.

Amendment Eight, Reasons of Bans

Okay

Amendment Nine, Privacy.

How about a button that says click for privacy. While it's clicked, other users can't view those profiles.

Amendment Ten, Warning Labels.

Sometimes it's just funny though. You get surprised easier and more.

My amendment 12(or 11 if you count that one)

12) No using the following internet lingo in any of its forms: Noob, leet, teh, omg, rofl, 8========D
