Annoying n00bs

What's with the influx of n00bs today?

TST, AnArChY_MaN, Dewbs789, THE_NG_POLICE, WaldenPunk, etc.

All and/or most of these people seem to have low post totals, bad grammar and uninformed opinions. I don't want to offend anyone that may be trying to "break-in" on a new forum, but don't ruin it with your idiocy. Post something with sibstance or don't post at all! Please!

I'm sorry if I offend anyone, but this annoys me.

I know they are annoying(I am glad my name isn't on there). But, they are new people. We need new people if the newgrounds post is gonna stay active. I think we should incourage new folk instead of saying STFU noob. The more new people we have, the better are forum will be. They may be newbish, but they'll grow outta it.

yea, that was the one ted easton commanded. How did that go? I was gonna march front lines with our glorious leader, but my internet was disconnected all nite (that muther ****) I don't tihnk we should crusade for awhile. I like the elite team of politcal peeps we have now.

I know, and i am noble to your couse, it is just look at some of the topics locked up. I know if a user get's banned all of his forums are locked up, but see what some people got banned for. Someone said something about moderaters being more censership and he got locked.

I will refrain from commenting on the mod situation for fear of the ban, but I would like to say that there is nothing the BBS rules about posting another person's username. In fact, I'm trying to remind these people of something that IS in the rules: "Always lurk before you post."

These people don't seem to know what the standards are on this forum, IMHO.

I don't oppose cleaning up the forum and never have. I don't like this "council" because its just a few people who have no power over the forum, (yet pretend they do), don't attempt to really "clean up" the forum and use laughably easy riddles as "admissions tests" decided to call themselves a "council."

The "admission tests" are a really really really really stupid way to get on. If we decide who is on the council, we probably should vote. anyone with +150 posts can vote on woh will be on council, couse there is no way in hell i want to see nemmy answer some gay riddle and become a leader

Yes that Walden dude(not his full name) is reallt P/O. We have got to arrange sorta a Political council meeting and try to get some noobits, squelched or ignored and post the public to ignore these ppl. I hope/pray that our political Haven stays safe from the Idiotic reach of the General public

I think the best way to accomplish that is simply to not broadcast ourselves.

Rather than a "ruling" council, we need a website with our own forum controlled by the Politics Crew. New membership on the crew will be by a majority vote of the currently acknowledged members.

It would be like clockcrew.cc but completely forum focused. No mods, just a general vote that would go out to Crew members, sorta like an e-mail vote that would be logged on a voting page in the Crew-only section.

And wait till you hear about the treehouse, and the secret handshake!

in a simple free forum like this, there is no method of sorting out the logical statements from the crap unless you use your head. I have yet to see a case where not reacting to a n00b caused further stupid statements. When a n00b feels that no one listens to s/he, there will be less and less posts from that person.

I really wished that worked on Nemmy. I don't think he will be going away for a long time. Hopefully they will get bored and the majority of the seriousness of this forum, and they will go back to the general. I think we need to make another general type of forum. The general is getting full. it is about time for another type of forum.

The politics crew is a band of the elite regulars of the Politics BBS, and a number of other regulars.
You'll see a black and white ying yang in mine and other's sigs, which signifies membership.

The politics COUNCIl, on the other hand, is a mysterious, illuminati like organization of secret origins. It serves no purpose whatsoever.
If anyone has any sort of experience in web design, let us know here, and we'll surely have you make us something up, just to keep the Politics Crew together.

but the truth is i didnt even notice the politic post until 3days ago. so i hope u dont think that im trying to invade or step on anyones toes. i just want to post my opinion in a well established manner that would excise ur mind and the pple of others that have been here longer then me!
