How good is the Wii

IVE heard its really good and from others it sucks and only for geeks with no life or emos, not saying i'm not a geek...
what do u guys think of the Wii, please leave the PS3 out, i know it will own the Wii's ass and i would buy one if the Wii didn't have that cool new controller!

Handling FPS games on it fucking sucks. It's not like arcade games (like Police911 @ Dave & Busters) because it's fucking slow to react. I tried Red Steel for just 15 minutes, and it was very upsetting. All you really have to do with sword fighting games is flail your arms around like an attention-depraved monkey and you can win.

try Call of Duty 3. it takes about 20 minutes to get used to the controls, but the aiming and whatnot are great. i wish i would have bought that instead of Tony Hawk's SSX, i mean, Downhill Jam.

They're all good, but each has their strong points. Wii is the first interactive game system like that ever, X[] 360 is HD gaming with incredible online capability, and PS3 is kind of a bragging right to have.

You're judging the controls of FPS's on the console, by the FPS which is lowest rated, and is considered by most reviewers to have crap control compared to other Wii FPS's.

the wii was supposed to mean easier to control games. but what everyone is slowly finding out as more traditional games come out for it is that it actually harder to just pick up a game and play. learning simple moves that came naturally with a controller now have to be relearned.

i like the wii but from what i've played and what i see comeing out in the near future it looks like it's going the way of the gc.

NO ITS NOT. Fucking Nintendo fans seem to be clueless that the same technology on the Wii has been used in Arcade games and PC's for 10 years now. JESUS CHRIST. They did nothing original and left it with sub-par graphics.

True graphics aren't everything but they help grasp you into believeing a game which will extend your enjoyment.

Actually they DID improve the motion sensures. Or you could say the motion sensures got better, and cheaper.
