If I hit a boy in my school, i get hit back, but not if it's a play fight. Most of my guy friends (or the people I get in a fight with) are quite big so usually if i hit them, i hit them lightly plus they won't feel anything. i haven't been in a serious fight with a boy, or ever injured one, but if i did they would injure me back

I agree completly. Most women don't want equal rights; they want better treatment. It's a total double standard, just like if a man accepts lesbians but regects gays, or the fact that a woman wearing a man's clothes is normal but a man wearing a woman's clothes is freaky.

Now, while I'm in the green in all three of those cases of double-standard, it's still not right and it's not fair. Women should be able to vote and have equal opportunity to jobs, and with that should be eligible for draft and slapped/slapped back if she does something uncalled for. Mind you, this isn't saying that the traditional patriarch view isn't dead in society, but just that matriarchial views are on the rise.

What if we instated this rule:

But, back on topic, if a woman hits a man who doesn't deserve it, he has every right to defend himself. But if he provokes that hit, then he should not strike back.

No, the woman should not have hit in the first place, provoked or not. If she does, than the man should definitely hit back if it was unprovoked. Don't know about what a men should do if it is his fault. Same for women.
Of course, no hitting at all works best, but violence seems unavoidable to me.

I love how most of the people who have an opposing viewpoint to mine, instead of actually presenting an argument, resort to insults and general douchebaggery. This is all about equality here. It's not about beating on some poor woman. It doesn't matter if the slap/punch/kick/what-have-you was provoked or unprovoked; the simple fact that the woman would go so far as to resort to physical violence is simply showing her own inability to intelligently convey whatever it is she may be feeling. I'll be damned if I'll let any assault on my body or character, whether or not said attempt is successful or not, go unreturned. To do so would imply that I am weak enough of mind and/or body to allow others to do to me what they wish, and by doing so I would be relinquishing some amount of control to another. And in the end, what do we have other than the control of ourselves to set us apart from the rest of the animal kingdom? I would be rejecting my very nature as a human being.

That has got to be the worst example I've ever seen. I think people nowadays just throw out the word hate crime whwnever the hell they please. A hate crime is a crime that commited against one who visibly of another group, because they are visibly of another group, this example does not count.

Though, let's says said black man was 130lbs and 14, and the white man was a 6'5" 240lb man who had hand-to-hand combat training. Furthermore, the black guy throws a light punch, and then the white guy ruturns with a strong volley. Now that's where the situation comes in.

Usually when men get hit by women it is not worth any reprisal at all. Face it, when a man gets hit, it's usually light or well deserved. This does not mean that a man should not hold the right to reciprocate. When the situation calls for something, somethnig can be done. I am no saint my self. I have hit a woman. The situation was not a friendly one, and I definitely did not go untouched before I hit her, but that is not to say the event warranted it. Just to let you know it was not a strong hit, regardless of how much she claimed it to be, it was a whap on the arm, nothing more.

The right should be held, but reserved only for thsoe situations where the woman poses a danger to the man, not just an annoyance or a chance of pain.
