Hmm. Why are the lights out in Baghdad. The Us saud they wouldn't do it, becouse it caused to many problems for the citizens. It could be psychological to tell the civs, that US is in charge and maybe get some more surrenders or it could be Us bombs since it was followed by explosions. (Creepy)

..the Brits are doing the same in Basra - the coalition seem to like to have absolute "God-like" control (lighting up the nite sky with "million candle" flares) during attacks, taking advantage of superior night-vision equipment, etc.

Demoralizing the civilian populations is just fringe-benefit ;)

That's a lil' sick. I know that US has awesome night gear. There glasses can use x6 light magnification. It will not be long before Baghdad will belong tot he US and the Iraqis will rebel on Saddam

Its end game. I expect Baghdad to be under U.S. control either by morning or at the latest by Sunday.

How do we know that the US cut the power? The Pentagon denies that the US did it. Is this another Saddam move to blame the US for civilian distress and suffering? I wouldn't put anything past a person who executed his own son-in-law.
