Wow! ok I can't belive no one has said anything about the affirmative action case in the US Supreme Court now against Michigan University. If you havent heard of it, the court is trying to determine whether AA is constitutional or not. Personal I don't belive it is because it causes discrimination and prefferential treatment based on race. Even though it is designed to diversify a population it still is not constitutional because it gives someone more merit than another person based on skin color. If one unconstitutional act is performed and it only effects one person unconstitutionally then it is wrong regardless of what it is trying to achive. Diversity in colleges and workplaces aregoing to have to be maintained some other way than from AA.
Here is some info on the case:

I was not aware of this until just now.

To an extent, I agree with the Supreme Court's decision. State Universities shouldn't discriminate due to race. However, I believe that private Universities do have the right to run their school in any manner they see fit. Nonetheless, I think the Supreme Court made a good decision.

By the way, your NY Post link doesn't exactly work. It want's me to sign up for it's info.

No, I can totally believe it. Shows how racist many people are. O wait, whites cant be descriminated against (verbal irony). If blacks and asians had the same rights as whites, they would claim that they are being descriminated against.
