90"+ Screens = Crappy Wiimote

I've got an in focus projector and a wii, and i don't feel like the pointer is aligned with the image on the screen.

I have my Wii running with a 96" image and I feel like I can't point at the upper half of the screen. I can make the cursor go there, but it's not where I'm pointing. It's less like a laser pointer and more like aiming from the hip. I don't have this problem with my friend's Wii and his 32" LCD.

The worst part is that I try to aim my Gale Boomerang at the screen, and i almost always get the aim controller at screen message. It's driving me crazy.

I've adjusted the sensitivity of the remote, and I've got the sensor bar right below the screen (with the sensor bar set to below the screen). I'd like to try the setup with the sensor bar on top of the screen, but the cables aren't long enough.

If anyone else is having trouble, please share your experience. I was surprised that there was no real "calibration" of the system. Maybe I've missed a setting somewhere. I thought that it would have a setting for screen size at least.

i'm sorry, but until 2030 motion detecting sytems are very likely of having gaping flaws in gameplay.

i have the same issue with my 50" projection. but my 32 lcd t.v is fine.
i have yet to get it to work right :(

Try it with a TV and not a projector, it might be the Wii hates them.

Plus i heard you shouldn't play games on projectors cos it fucks them up.

I may not be a technical genius but maybe because it's best used with a TV screen and not a projector? Unless you stated it worked before on a projector then I dunno.

Yea, playing Wii on a projection, doesnt work. Use it on a real TV!

Actually, our old TV is probably what I'm going to be playing my Wii on.

My parents are worried the graphics will burn in on the new plasma TV we have.
