All the best movies have good drawing, so whats the trick? Do they spend hours drawing perfectly? Do they use a special program that i don't know about? Are they magically gifted? Do they zoom in to detail? What do they do, i am very interested.

I use the line tool... I make a line, then I edit the lines with the arrow tool...
That make more cool the draws..well..That works for me :)
Or drink Coke, that works too.

I guess that's what it takes to make good drawings.
Do they use a special program that i don't know about?
I don't think so.
Are they magically gifted?
Some of them are. Look at LegendaryFrog.
Do they zoom in to detail?
That's for sure.

hmm, well drawing on a computer is obviously much different then drawing in real life. to really draw well you have to figure out what your style is and btw...try to use the line tool as little as possible when your new because sometimes lines dont connect right and you have to fuck with them alot to be able to fill them in. if its a cartoony feel you want, make the lines thicker. dont draw with the pencil tool, always use the paintbrush. and then the rest is just a mixture of tips and tricks and how good at drawing you are. make a circle and make the lines somewhat thick on it. then you can unselect it and grab the lines surrounding the circle and you can bend then around and play with them, so if you were going to draw something of a, well, a bent circle in anyway you can tweak it and just go from there.
learn to use tweens.draw a face and embed it into like 5 tweens inside itself and draw everything on seperate layers/tweens. tweens arent just for making something move from one point to another, you can right click on a tween and edit it and make a movie clip inside, then the rest is synching the tweens together!

some people use graphics tablets, that is like having an electronic sketchpad. actually, that is exactly what it is.
mostly it is the avoidance of the mouse, but some people can draw well with the mouse so there really is no "trick".
you don't know if i'm joking or not

Simple enough, just get used to drawing with your mouse, and always used the curved line on the pencil.

Doh I forgot for a while that the forums exists.
Sometimes it's simple. The more time that you spend on your work, the better it'll be and the better you'll become. Patience.
And why don't YOU do something about that background

Ah, there's nothing like being insulted on the internet.
Could anyone suggest a good graphics tablet? There are tons of things I could use it for. USB connection would be nice.

as opposed to an old dickhead? if it were up to me (which it isn't) people who make insulting, useless, and dumb posts would have their post count set back to zero. that'd make you all think twice.

My "trick" is to have one hand on the mouse and the other hand on control and z, so if I draw a line that sucks I can quickly get rid of it. I usually have a few goes to do each line. control-y if you get rid of a line you wanted to keep.
once you get into it more, learn about bezier handles. that way, if your drawing is almost there but not quite you can adjust the curves with a degree of technicality.
if you find bezier curves a good way of doing things, you could look into using freehand (or illustrator) to put together your graphics and then import them into flash.
if you are interested in examples of my work, click my sig for my "real" profile - "kill the rabbit", "da bitches" or "please don't blam me" are the ones you should check out(none of them super great though)

Graphics are easy. I could draw some of the graphics that some of the best movies have. The hard part is the animation.

Animating really is hard though when done frame-by-frame. I feel lucky if I can knock off 10 frames in an hour.
