UH-OH! Here comes the ol' anti-semite card.

Locking that topic was ridiculous. It was not racist and the guy could've been informed of how ridiculous it is for somebody to think that the world would be better off without Jews. Instead, he got a first-hand account of a cruel Jewish stereotype - that they have a knee-jerk reaction to anything they don't like by throwing the anti-semite charge around.

I think when a race/religion has suffered persecution for more than 2000 years, they deserve a break.

Really, would you berate a man for having a knee jerk reaction to loud noises when he's had 50 attempts at shooting him?

True. I didn't mean to berate and I came off pretty rude and I apologize to Panik for that.

I just think that in a place of debate such as this a person should be informed rather than shouted down and locked out. I don't think the guy was truly a racist, but a chance at education was missed and any negative feelings he may have had were reinforced. Instead of learning about the contributions of Jewish people and their importance to society, he learned not to ask questions.

It doesn't give them the right to treat people like shit, and they haven't tried to. It gives them additional leeway in matters concerning their religion and intolerance towards it, which this is directly related to.
