"The only true heroes are those who find ways that help defeat the U.S. military," Nicholas De Genova, an assistant professor of anthropology and Latino studies at Columbia University, told the audience at Low Library Wednesday night. "I personally would like to see a million Mogadishus."
Now I'm all for voicing your opinion, even if it is an unpopular one but something is seriously wrong with this guy.

That is wrong in just so many ways.
Whether you're pro-war or anti-war, you cannot deny that the troops are heroes.
There is debate over whether war is necessary, but no one can deny that Saddam needs to go. Thus, most sensible anti-war people should say, "I don't think we should be over there, but since we are, we might as well win."
But to wish defeat upon our troops is sickening, and hints at support of Saddam.
If I found out that one of my professors thought like that--or worse, tried to push that belief on me--I'd drop his class in 2.3 seconds.

What's really disturbs me is that this man is a professor at one of our nation's most prestigious universities. This is a man claims that the government of the United States is racist and white supremacist.
Doesn't it occur to him that calling for "a million Mogadishus" in Iraq he is not only calling for the death of 18 million of his fellow Americans, he is calling for the death of over a billion Iraqis. Is he just a man prone to hyperbole or is he to damn dumb to think about what he is saying.
Either way, he is not fit to train a dog much less teach at a world respected learning institution such Columbia.

If you are referring to me printing the contact information for Prof. De Genova, this is all a matter of public record and is nothing that any person couldn't find out using perfectly legal and ethical means such as a common search engine.
This information is all to official contacts of Columbia university and were provided to give any interested party a way to provide feedback to the professor and to the faculty which will be considering him for tenure.

I've found that great scholars don't necessarily make great people. After all, the unabomber graduated first in his class from some Ivy league school, I don't feel like looking it up. From my experience, people with Masters degrees are more down to earth than Ph.d holders.

Keep it clean and legal kids, no threats, it's hard to practice your freedom of speech from a jail cell.
