AIM is basically AOL instant messenger. It's just a program you use to chat with people. You can get it from: http://www.aol.co.uk/

1. - AIM is America Online (AOL) Instant Messenger
2. - i am not sure but heres the web site - www.aim.com or
3. - you can talk to people on the web and those who has america online. its not difficult to use and its simple in fact, just follow the instructions and you will be chattin in no time.......

They jsut funcion on there own have there own icons in the bottom right.....

Good point. lol With Trillian, though, you can sign on to, say, 5 AIM screen names simultaneously. Or more, whatever floats your boat. (Also applies to the others.)

btw can you do every thing with trillian what you can with msn, aim and the others??

I can sign on to more than one MSN account at a time without that programme.

I'm not sure how it happens, i just stumbled upon it one day. I just click on MSN on my start menu and another MSN window opens up. I've signed into 4 different accounts simultaneously before.
