The Daily Fifth was 3.27. Whoah... I've seen submissions with over 4.0 pass without a single award and this...
And the popular artists list was incredibly small today as well.

This is one of those times when I could send myself a message back in time. Had I known today would've turn out like this, I could've thrown something together yesterday. Anything would've won an award on a day like this.

I'm starting to worry for NG a bit, they have all these wicked monthly contests and all, but like, no ones submitting anything. And a daily 5th with 3.27???? I need to submit somemore stuff. Again. No offence to bovar20 tho, I just thought that daily stuff is supposed to get "awesome/blue" scores, not green. I'll be sad if I ever see a daily 5th in the 2s.

Um it's only been recently (like the last year or two) that the top 5's scores have become incredibly inflated. 4!?!? Nothing ever used to have a 4 on NG. It's only been since the sight has become really popular that scores have gotten that high. I think it's kinda nice to see a day where a few people can be seen that normally wouldn't (myself included :D)

Actually, today is quite a relief.
It used to be that something only hit the top fifty once every other month or so. Earlier this year it became a nearly bi-weekly thing. Now it's started happening nearly three times a week.
Things get high ratings these days.
Nice to see a calm, average day where some potentially great animators got some spotlight. Maybe a little more critism and inspiration to help them improve.

Ya know buddy, me and a friend of mine have been trying to trace your IP address for the last two days, haven't been able to for some reason. I don't know what your deal is. I don't know if it's cause I got the daily feature, or cause my flash didn't flop like you kept e-mailing me it would but just screw off.

Nah, Jon, your reboot submission was very cool, I liked it a lot. I just meant that it was really unusual to see four people in the popular artists, and less incredibly high scoring submissions.

I'm relatively new here, and from my perspective it just seemed as though the daily features have always had 4s. It is really nice to see some new artists though, its a welcome break from the seemingly perfect brackenwood stuff.

It's pretty obvious that you and 'Jon' are the same person you know. The art in your profile is of the same style as Jons, and you only start posting once you have won an award so you (Jon) get more noticed and felt pity for. It makes sense.

Nah for real, I showed that guy my flash film before I was done with it, so he took the name smite agent. I didn't really know him but he was from NG so I didn't think it'd be a big deal. Then he starts Iming me and e-mailing me weird messages, and then we tried tracing his IP from a message board, but it was the same IP as me, so I dont know if he hacked my comp or what

All I know is I'm getting error messages all over the place and my comp just keeps rebooting, this'll be the second time I've had to take my comp in for repairs in the last 8 months
