The BBS made me improve my spelling and grammer (and possibly typing speed) a fair bit, and I'm very... bitter now... whenever I hear someones opinion that makes no sense. I used to deal with those people nicely, and try to persuade them, but now I just act like a dick until they straigten up.
Which'll never happen. So I usually end up being a dick to that person for a fair while...

Newgrounds helped me by teaching me how to have fun, and it slightly improved my sense of humor over the past year.

I can't wait to get an '07 account or two. 7 is a much better number than 6.

I have wasted long hours of my life browsing the BBS when I should have been studying. Of course, this is all my own fault, no blame to the BBS. Now I'm interested in only a few topics here and there. Most either bore me, or I just don't understand them. It's also been interesting to see how people depend on a website...and especially a forum of a website. Also, something good about the BBS is the diversity. There are lots of different types of users.
Well, I've posted quite a bit there. Now back to my homework.
Give my thoughts form and make them look insightful.

Well, It showed me to be a less shitty polite slave of everyone!!!
I used to constantly bring drinks to my brother (he's a lazy moron) for he's way stronger then me... Now I found a way to let HIM bring drinks for ME instead!! (verbally!)
THX NEWGROUNDS!!! You make the world a better place!
A rather disgusting-looking git that should have been disposed of ages ago.

Newgrounds has opened my eyes to stuff most "humans" don't know about. If you spend enough time on Newgrounds you will learn, not math but...... other stuff...... like how to draw foamy...... or a strwaberry that made a B could now rule an army......

I must say, it hasn't really changed me much at all.
Sure, I spend about 20 minutes a day on the site. 10 of those minutes I spend on the BBS forum, 10 on rating flash vids and checking the site out.
But that doesn't mean squat. And it shouldn't for you, or for anyone else either.
It's simply entertainment.

It taught me cyber humor which you just can't pick up anywhere else. Also i look back at my posts and realize how offensive alot of them were to the outside person. Now i tend to think before i post/talk.

I've learned alot here too...but if it's a lesson in tolerance, not many(that I know of)have learned that yet seeing as there's still a ton of goth and emo hating threads(though the joke is finally
dying down).
Overall though, the bbs is alot better than it used to be,it's alot more stable now and people are alot better behaved, including myself... I have learned how to act on other forums by seeing how
people act on NG,overall,been a great experience... so,cheers to you,newgrounds! ^_^

Yes, NewGrounds has changed me.
Before NG I was....well, emo in nature and I was always fairly close to losing my mind.
It sucked so much, but I thought that the way I was was like I was standing up for emos and for a point.
MAN, I was gay!
Then I discovered NG, soon after found noticed the forum.
Since then I cut my gay dyed-black hair, stoppped being so emo, matured, learned a lot more than I've learnt in school and started enjoying myself more.
Now, a year later I'm much happier.

Dude, a year and a half is a long time. Your time here may be longer, but a year and a half is quite a while.

Newgrounds changed my life a lot. Like, for example... I wear Newgrounds shirts instead of regular shirts.

I used to think jokes about the size of one's penis were immature and unfunny.
