You should be able to get a ScreenShot application for the mac, google it or something.
P.S. Nice computer setup.

Ok well, I'll throw up what I had when I worked on my last assignment.. We're doing the whole 're-invent the wheel' thing right now.
"Design your own Hash table program that supports reading commands "insert" "delete" "find" and "list" from a file. Hash the keys for each command using a) Linear Probing, b) Double Hashing, and c) Seperate Chaining using three different table classes.
You cannot use any built in java structures, you must build your own Nodes, Lists, Tables and Sorting algorithms."
So as you can see, I had to write a Node class, List class, three Table classes (one for each hashing method), an rsort (Radix Sort) class, and my main program.
It was a bitch mostly because of the amount of code I had to write in 24 hours... The difficulty was pretty simple actually
but here's the damn screenshot already.
The way I work

Once you've been using the computer long enough you'll realize that you do not need a bunch of stupid eye candy effects. But then again, maybe you're right. Maybe I should go download a bunch of effects and even have the speakers play "Im Too Sexy" each time I load an application. Maybe I'll have my MSN/AIM messages fade in on the screen in a Powerpointesque style or perhaps when I click my taskbar the programs can float in from the left of the screen because that'll be awesome cool. Or I'll ditch my preference for web browsers because I want to show off my desktop and how much time I've put into picking out the right themes. I'll even use Opera as it is the only way to be considered cool on the internet (aren't the cool kids using Opera?) Now that I think about it, I completely see your point and look forward to my new desktop future. Thanks.

There should be some sort of print screen button on your keyboard. Take a picture of it and I'll tell ya! I know that my Dad's Dell Inspiron has something on it but I don't look at it enough to remember what the button actually says or where it's located.

If your notebook is similar to mine (I have a Pavilion as well) you should be able to hold the 'fn' key and then there should be 'prt sc' in blue under the 'insert' key.
Since the 'fn' button will do the second function of whatever key it will use insert's second function which is 'prt sc'/print screen.
Although if you have a model not like mine I am not too sure whether it would be like this or not.

I would suggest not using the concatenation of SQL queries like that. Whenever I help someone with SQL queries, I always recommend putting different parts on new lines. MySQL errors, unfortunately, don't tell you the exact cause of the problem.
In most cases, people will have a query all bunched up on one line, and the error will say "problem blah blah at line 1". Well, if you have each part of the query on a new line, it makes it much easier. I break mine up like so:
$sql = "SELECT COUNT(col) FROM table \n";
$sql .= "WHERE col = 'val' \n";
$sql .= "ORDER BY col ASC";
That way, you can debug much faster. :)
Oh yeah, here is me working on my Open Source content management system.

I see what you mean, but personally, I'm not a fan of having extra content in queries that aren't necessary.

None of you guys have nearly enough window up. Whenever I get into it, i have 20 windows open min (less thanks to tabbed browsing). I have several versions of the current program up and probably other programs too (so i can reuse code), many different resource pages up, and a window with xtremevbtalk.com open. Not to mention paint (yeah I use paint, so what?) sometimes aim and more than likely windows media player. Not to mention I'll ususally be reading up on something completely miscellanious.
Unfortunately, I haven't been that "in to" it recently. And I dont feel like staging a pic. But when ever I really want to do something, It gets extreme.

On a mac, if you go to Applications, then Utilities, you should see a program called 'Grab'. It's pretty straightforward to use.

I never really thought about it, but a black background is so much more easier on the eyes! I just changed changed my TextPad settings and already I feel like I'll be able to spend more time looking at code.

That's because black doesn't reflect light like white does. I do agree that black/darker backgrounds are much easier on the eyes.
