will US leave Afghanistan and stop assisting them since there's no more American interest left, terrorism regime is gone except for Mullah Omar?

No, we'll probably wipe out all thier poppy fields then forget about them until NBC does a "heartfelt" report on how the people there are starving so the'll set up a charity fund. 10 minutes later everyone in Afganistan will be rich.

nah, theyll probably afghanistan on the 'not quite starving but definately not rich' line and then exploit the poor children to make clothes for rich yanks.

yeah, the poppy fields are back at pre-taliban levels... and the last time i remember even heraing about afghanistan is when karzai went to the senate and said 'Dont forget us' other than small little scrolling things on tv saying '3die in afghanistan' i dont remember before that when the news said afghanistan

I can understand the troops going home through...they can't be there forever....but they should at least get some International support.....i mean, what kind of resources does Afgan has to lean back into, unlike Iraq's Oil feilds.....

I'd say forgetting to add in the cost of operations in afghanistan into next years budget doesn't count as 'focused'
