The "least-known" band in my music collection is probably Acroma...
Their Wikipedia article is only a few sentences, they only have one album, and nobody I know has ever heard of them.
The band is pretty good, in my opinion... but it's just alternative rock, and that's all starting to sound the same anyway, so there's no really good reason to pick these guys over any other alt rock band. They only caught my attention because of two amazing songs: "Orbitals" and "Don't Think Just Move."

I just got into them, but out of all the people i know, no one has listened to them.
Unknown or not, i still like them.

Starting to? They went mainstream a long long time ago when they appeared on Top Of The Pops.
For me...I guess The Paper Chase is pretty unknown. I only heard of the band when someone made a topic about them.
This too will pass.

All of those bands a relatively known. Especially SYL now that they were on Ozzfest. CoB is the most overrated piece of crap you can possibly mention anyway. For most unknown, I'd go for Noothgrush.
Here I am, bored with everything.

Not a big fan of PT even though I should be, but I love Yo La Tengo. When I first heard of them I was expecting some wierd spanish flamenco band, boy was I wrong.

This is NG, Anal cunt is more popular and well known here than Bob Dylan.

These unknown? Do yourself a favor and dont search any threads about metal bands. At least 4 out of the 6 you mentioned appear in almost any given "whats the best metal" or "whats your favorite metal" thread.

Probably the most unknown band i listen to is fozzy, they aren't all that unknown though. And their lead singer is also pretty famous (but not for singing)
