Democrats won the House and the Senate on November 7th. A lot of things are going to change. Here is my list of exactly what we can expect over the next two or more years now that the donkeys run the asylum:
1. You get increased Freedom - So long as you are a black, gay illegal immigrant wanting to adopt (and subsequently abort) a child. Across state lines.
2. You won't have to worry about money - Democrats are going to make sure all of that goes straight to the federal government, which needs it for naming things after politicians recently voted out.
3. Iraq will no longer be a problem - Democrats will surrender and run away so that the terrorists can rebuild the place out of THEIR. Nothing bad will come from that at all, I'm told.
4. Social Security will be dealt with - And by "dealt with," Democrats mean "complained about in the ongoing fashion."
5. There will be no scandal. - Anythnig bad is still Bush's fault, if you didn't get the memo.
6. Congress will get things done. - When the President dissolves the House of Representatives, things will move twice as fast.
7. Politicians will represent you. - So long as you are a left-of-center tax raiser who knows more than anyone from "outside the city."

What does it mean? Well, let's put it this way: they were dancing on the streets of Tehran, as now Bush can't invade Iran as the Democrats won't support it. They would on the streets of North Korea too, but it's probably forbidden.
Propaganda is to a Democracy what violence is to a Dictatorship
Never underestimate the significance of "significant."

From Botswana.
6. Congress will get things done. - When the President dissolves the House of Representatives, things will move twice as fast.
But that will be like cutting after-school programs in the inner city. Representatives will be loitering around the Mall, shooting dice and dealing drugs and generally making a nuisance of themselves. And there will be no more free ice cream.
He followed me home, can I keep him?

By the looks of it they are going to have a civil war wether our troops are there or not. I say regardless of what we do with Iraq now, something bad is going to have and it's going to happen soon.

No, I'm pretty sure I was replying to you, dumbass. The difference between you and Tech is he's at least honest and says he doesn't try and insult others.

And how's that really different from insulting and trying to rile political opposition? Just come out and admit you're an asshole, kid. We've all done it.

More than once actually... a lot more.
I generally don't mean to call anyone here stupid, just the voting public. I just want progress in a war. Yes, i'm aware that they can shoot down any stupid idea, but considering every politician today just doesn't like anything good coming out of the opposing party, good ideas will be shot down as well thus preventing any kind of actual progress.

Wow, a n00b is trying to start a flame war! Listen, the dems did not beat the GOP everywhere, that would be impossible. Also, the democrats are going to have to find a different way to blame stuff on other people, now that they can't whine anymore. I mean, you have to vote for the people you know the Isamic fasists DO NOT want to vote for.

all we can do is wait. even if democrats do good in the house, republicans still wont appreciate this. i can tell u guys one thing though, democrats will really crack down this time and get the job done, not letting any criticism block thier goal. republicans had control of the house since 1994, now its time to see what the democrats can do...

Like Bush did about 9/11?
Remember 9/11 was mostly planned under his watch and he was warned many times especially when he took that 3 month long vacation before 9/11

How bout how the Sudan officials offered to give Osama Bin Laden over to Clinton on a silver plate in exchange they be taken off the list of terrorist-hotbeds? This was after the US Embassy bombing and USS Cole attack.

Lie Lie Lie moron.
Sudan was offering Osama to Saudi Arabia, Saudi Arabia said they didn't want him.
And no this was not after the uss cole attack either. Once Clinton and his team were finally gaining some ground with the saudis the sudan let him and it was too late. Meanwhile the repugs were spending 100 million or more trying to get any dirt they could that would bring him down after whitewater scandal fizzled into nothing.
