Ok everyone stop, and read my post above. i took care of it. no more bashing

pj, you claim the melody is easily recognizeable. of course it is to you; you made it! I'm not saying I can't hear the theme in there; I can. but not without significant effort. you can't argue that taking away notes doesn't change the melody; what if I just used one note at the beginning of each measure? or one note period? chords do not make a song; have you any idea how many songs use the chord structure of pachelbel's canon? they just took away some notes; does that make them all remixes? I'm sorry, but apparently this remix competition is different from all the ones you're used to, but somehow the rest of us have found ways to stay within the guidelines. thinking outside the box is all well and good, but when you enter a cat into a dog show, you've got to realize it's probably not going to be accepted.

Alright everybody we're down to the final stretch. The contest is set to close Monday, November 27th 2006 at 11:59:59 EST. Unless previously discussed with Housemasta, submissions will no longer be accepted after this date. The lists of contestants will be posted sometime mid-tuesday, and all judges will be contacted to begin voting. Once the votes are counted, they will be announced on Radiogrounds by PsychoGoldfish on Saturday (still trying to find out an exact time, though we're looking towards the latter of the day).
