whats programing??

like what is programing and do you use it to something i heard you use it to make computers and games and stuff is it like crafting and stuff but you build small chips or something or what is it plz tell me cuz i dont know why there is a forum about it and??!?!?!!!

It's coding, it's what devs use to create a program, like Windows Media Player, an OS(Like Windows or MAC), or a video game, basically, any digital content. And there a languages to do so, basically, the language you use to communicate with the computer, some are easy, but can't accomplish much, but some are more complicated however, allow you to create much more sophisticated programs, like a modern videogame. It's not exactly elementary stuff either. People do go to college for it.

so what is a languge then and how do you use it and what do you do with it??? i want to make my own games or flash animations so i want to learn something that you do games with easy

To make flash go to the flash forum.

To make flash games go to the flash forum.

To make executible games go to the c++ main

To make websites check out the php main, or www.w3schools.com/

Programming: It's a set of instructions the developer(programmer) codes and has the computer follow.

Language: Refers to different variations of programming codes and very similar (hence the name.) To real-world languages. They all do their job it's just understanding them and getting fluent with each.

A programmer in my opinion is not someone that thinks they know everything, or even someone who may have memorized 3/4 the functions of a specific language. A programmer is someone who can take their knowledge and manipulate it in order to complete what they need done. A programmer will also be one of the first people to ask 100 questions about something striving to gain any sort of background or functionalism to a specific part in the language they code in.

You're really retarded... You can't just "do" programming. You have to learn one of the existing languages. If you want to program a ame, that will take many years, to learn and it code it.

flash and c++ aren't the same, but you might want to start with flash to get the gist. For websites, start with HTML and work your way up to languages like javascript and php.

Well now i've got my answers and some dudes gave me some basic lessons and links to learn c++ and also they linked a compiler named codeblocks i dont understand much yet but when i do ill read the links about how to make psp games
