I actually painted that on photoshop. i agree though, it looks like that because that's when i really started to get into digital painting. It looks too soft.

I agree, I also have better peices in my profile, I don't think i've posted some of them in this thread yet. Check'm out. Once I get 'well known' enough I'll stop using this thread and hopefully people will just go check my profile out for my stuff.

It looks pretty good but if he's casting a shadow like that i think there should be some stronger highlights on him.

Yeah, I'm definitely going to change the lighting. I'm going to re paint the face as well, it's bugging me for some reason, the lighting doesn't look natural.. Also my mother also just walked in on me masturbating, and now she's ranting on about how I'm going to ruin my future marriages. And since I stay up all night and sleep during the day she thinks that all I do every night is wank it for 12 hours straight. Sorry, just wanted to get that off my chest. Oh man, never felt so awkward in my life.

Awesome. Some of this reminds me of the style of Gorillaz. The poses are really creative, and they look good, the best part is that the characters look uncomfortable and awkward, just like in real-life! Honestly I'm not being sarcastic, no-one actually looks totally comfortable in their stance when their tall like these characters. I know from personal experience. I see you used a pen and watercolors? Excellent. I may try that. Also, congratulations on the Sprite competition, you deserved it.

I like this one. Definitely the face problem is that his face is darkened in the place where your shadow suggests the light is coming from. Apart from that, cool. By the way, what did you use to create the little white lines on his face used for lighting? A pen, or watercolors?

That's all Photoshop, I'll link to some art brushes that I use later, I'm trying to small talk my moms temper down.
don't really draw girls all that much, so i thought this was pretty good.

Can never get their bloody faces right. Always draw the jaw line too big or too small, and it's so hard making them look feminine. i'll start sketch'n up some more for you guys though.

Yeah, lookin' excellent. Custom brushes eh? I need to get my paws on Photoshop. Up until now I've been using Fireworks. Excellent stuff, also, I won't complain if you suss out my thread, an artists opinion always helps.

I'm actually planning on finishing this one, i've been workin on it for a while now. I'm starting to animate alot more since i don't have photoshop anymore.
