I got some films that me and my freind ahve made, nothing great, buy you know. We are wanting to put them onto DVD.
Im have heard that you can use a CD to burn a DVD style film, that will play in your DVD player.
Can some one shead some light onto wheather there is truth in that, and what is some good software for making a DVD, with the menu and chapters and everything.

Erm, no. Its a DVD player, it plays DVDs. You'd need a DVD writer and DVD discs (as Jessii said). If you don't have a writer, I guess your local PC shop might have one, look around.

You can use a CD to make a VCD, which is read by some DVD players, but I don't know which software you can use to do it. You won't get the quality of a DVD with a VCD, however.
