Yeah, I noticed them too... in my opinion, they do look better than the older ones. Yellow seems to match the color of the links and the "Sign-In -or- Join NG!" buttons, also pretty new. Nice.

They are bright. But I think if you change all of the buttons to match, the colour scheme might work. It would be good to see a move away from the kind of depressing grey of the current bbs.

If you look at just at the header, it actually looks quite stylish.
