Nintendo is smarter then Blizzard

I called Nintendo Tech Support for my NES. It wasn't working propperly. This was our convorsation.

Me: Hi. I have a question about my NES. It's just blinking when I turn it on and I don't know if it's broken or just dirty.

Nintendo: Well most of the time it's because the system is so old the parts collapse over time and stop working.

Me: Well don't you repair systems?

Nintendo: Well we can't fix your NES because it's so old we no longer have the parts for it. You can buy a Wii and download NES games or you could get another NES from Ebay or another auction site.

Me: So there's no way I can get my NES to work?

Nintendo: No. But there are top-loaders. They're new and they play the origanal NES games.

Me: Ok. I'll look into that. Thanks.

Nintendo: No problem.

This was my convorsation with BLizzard.

Me: Hey. I have the WoW trial DVD and when I put it in my DVD player it just shows a menu with some folders. I can't open them.

Blizzard: Did you put it in a DVD player attached to a t.v?

Me: ...

Blizzard: Hello?

Me. Yeah...

Blizzard: Well I don't know what to tell you other then just buy the game.

I hung up.

So do any of you have any bad Tech Support calls you would like to share with us all?

That happened to me once, too. Then, to top it all off, I woke up with an empty Jack Daniels bottle in my hand and my pants pulled down, with some tiolet paper sticking out of my ass. I also had more money then when I went to the bar... Which means I exchanged goods and/or services for said money... I haven't had a drink since...

Thats weird, because I woke up with an empty tequila bottle in my hand and my pants pulled down, with a rubber sticking out of my ass. I had no money at all... Which means I got pissed, was raped and than robbed... I havn't had sex since...

Well for you who have seen the E3 2006 would kown that nintendo have a different goal then the other producer.
Nintendo are not after the best grafik, instead they are after the emotion of playing games. they made Wii because Wii hade the best real features that games have ever created.

That is why ps3 is going so badly. the are after grafik and the best hardwear and much much more. And as you understand that playstation whent from small to bigger and from cheap to high price.

For you who didin't know nintendo DS was made 1995 and it was a backup for nintendo if they were close to get in a bankruptcy. but they werent getting to a bankruptcy, they were afrada of PSP that's all.

How does this make Nintendo "smarter" than Blizzard? It's all about chance when you call into any sort of tech support. Your title just seems to be inviting flame wars.

I've called the xbox hotline once or twice before when I had an xbox. Each and everytime it was a guy with a semi-heavy accent. Now. I'm all for people have jobs that they need of various sorts, but if you're working in America, and the main language is English, you shouldn't give the job of talking English language suppourt to Americans. I mean, I wouldn't want to be an American working for German hotline. I'd have a heavy accent and it would be hard to understand me.

I guess it's cheaper to higher them.

Nintendo is the most customer friendly.
When other companies [Microsoft and Sony for instance...] only try to better there stuff and beat the other companies in graphics and such...
While Nintendo actually looks at the FUN aspect... trying to maximise their conosle and games' fun...
Nintendo has been alive for about 100 years... [though weren't in the game industry at the beginning]
And it makes sense that Nintendo would be smarter... since they don't aim for the eye candy in their games, and such....and pulling that off, and being alive for nearly 100 years, have to make them pretty damn smart...

Nintendo just seems to always do the things at the right times.
the 360 and PS3 are really expensive, so what does Nintendo do?... They bring at a cheap console that has features that the expensive ones don't!
Though when it comes to Blizzard and Nintendo, I think it comes down to expernaice and knowledge of their customers.
