This is the guy from areananet im talking about: tinfoil. Although you having roots in NG makes you better, but still check it out, he's really good

Wow, you're still improving, a lot!
9/10 for this "mediocre(Not)" W.I.P.

Thats sick as usual Johan! You should definitely finish it! I really like the professionalism you have achieved in your recent works, I think you would make a great concept artist! The stairs look realistic as hell too. Can't wait for more!

can you make that one in 1680 x 1050 pixels? It would be really cool as desktop background :)
btw, I scrolled thrue all your art, its very nice!
Thank you all for your kind words! You really motivate me to continue drawing. :) I'll post an update to the previous picture soon.

I'm afraid that the biggest version I have of that picture is only in 700 x 600 pixels, and resizing it to desktop size will make the picture very blurry.. you can however still download it here if you want:

Wow, so I just scrolled through your entire thread, and I've gotta say, it's amazing how much you have improved, and how fast you can pump out all of these pictures.
you have to throw in the evil glowing eyes :O
nice!
From the first to the last page, the rate of progress is astounding.
Terrific job my friend, kudos to you.
now...
Maybe you could try a more elaborate landscape? Perhaps something like mynamewontfitin would do?
Gran Turismo 5.
That is all.

In my opinion, his gloves would be better if they were less "Mitten" like.

hehe, I actually thought about adding that, but changed my mind. I guess I wanted to keep the character as realistic as possible. Thanks for the comment man!

Yeah why not. I'm a big fan of his work and it would be fun to do something similiar to what he does, mabey a landscape with a futuristic setting.
Thanks for the comment!

Actually I liked them that way, makes him look more priest-like or something.
Your stuff never ceases to amaze me.

Thanks man <3
New one, inspired by mynamewontfitin's enviroment pieces.
I've noticed that the jpegs I export from Photoshop turn out alot darker than their original. Does anyone know how to get the exported pictures to look exactly like on the canvas inside the program?

If your using photoshop I suggest using the save to web feature theres alot of things you can change here, though you probably use it anyway.
If its a big problem just try tweaking the brightness/contrast.
Also nice to see your new material johan <3

Hey thanks for the reply, unfortunately the picture still goes darker when I export it. I took a printscreen of the picture inside PS to show you what the original looks like:
oh and update! :3
And here's the picture after I've saved it, as you can see I loose alot of the details. It's no big deal I guess, just a bit annoying.
Hey thanks! :) :)
New enviroment speedpaint, about one hour:

I gave the soldier guy on the previous page some more lovin' :
Oh and I opened up a thread on CA where you can view some of these pictures in higher quality. Here
the environments are looking super sexy. I really like the one with the tank(?) on top. I feel like if you go into detail on it it could be pretty epic and slick. Also the characters look really nice as usual.

Yeah for sure, but I think I will leave it for now. At the moment I'm focusing more on composition and colours rather than details. Thanks for the comment though, I really apprecciate it
